It takes guts to tell someone you care about that you're willing to let go because of their shortcomings. And sometimes we too need to let go of those we "depend on" for whatever reason we hold on to friends who are incorrigible. But sometimes, though they need help, they don't want it. If she ignores you its probably because she feels like she doesn't want to be told how to be a mother or be a better person in general even though she KNOWS she needs to change because its true and she probably hears it all the time. Change only comes from an inherent, selfish desire to do something for themselves – not because someone else thinks they should even if they are right. If she chooses to support her junkie man and his damaging habits to her lifestyle and environment... its on her. Who will ultimately pay for it however is her child and she probably doesn't recognize the severity or seriousness of her sense of self, or lack-there-of. If her father is paying her friends to keep an eye on her then you know something's wrong and a smart person would look at themselves and say "wtf is wrong with me" but no, they remain immature and think others are overbearing and hypercritical. At worst, perhaps her father can take in the child. Or maybe you can. Be the best thing that happened to that kid by association. *shrug* No one could blame you however if you didn't. Her life isn't your responsibility.

Currently working on Batman: Arkham Asylum and Street Fighter 4 everyday when I can so I don't get rusty. I also recently started playing WoW again last week. I had a 40 Night Elf Druid that I hadn't played in years, with all the rest experience gained during I got him to 44 until Sunday morning around 6am I got this and I am currently level 49. This guide is seriously the best thing i've ever used in WoW for a casual gamer (not by choice, I just can't dedicate as much time or energy and don't have an awesome guild to rely on). Since WoW started what... 5 years ago, i've only managed to reach level 66 with a different character on and off because of the difficulty of solo'ing and friends you can't rely on. Now that the new expansion is coming it got me motivated to play again and really hit end-game like I always wanted and with this guide, it'll be reality. Oh and I just installed Mini-Ninjas. Working on getting Resident Evil 5.

Yeah, its nice you care for your friend and all but you're not her keeper. Decisions that will impact her life are her own to reap and you can't "prevent" her from making a potentially hazardous mistake because all you're doing is prolonging the situation where she hasn't learned for herself to prevent things on her own. If she's going to fuck up (pardon my tact) she will, and you helping her avoid it is simply you prolonging the inevitable. She has to learn for herself and change on her own. You can however be there to encourage her and support her through it all but you can't hold her hand through it. People like her, in her situation have issues and nobody's going to help make that change in life for them but themselves. It's just unfortunate it sometimes gets bad enough that it involves innocents who suffer such as her child who (pardon my tact again) shouldn't have happened to begin with.

a shitty movie with Colin Farrel, guy from green mile, and ben affelec and a shitty spin off with Jennifer garner is not popular mainstream? a recast Daredevil movie revamp (like they did with the hulk) is exactly what's needed, +++ if Frank Miller got involved It isn't, compared to the other titles available for developing into a film that are more popular in mainstream media. Hulk is lucky because its Hulk and was allowed to be reimagined for profit (which may or may not have succeeded). The Jennifer Garner spinoff was made based on her popularity at the time... not the character itself. I mean who would you rather see? Elektra or Captain America? Not saying a reimagined Daredevil movie wouldn't be cool but when people are demanding the big names upfront the less titular characters have to take a backseat. Just look at the Iron Fist movie that was supposed to happen. Its just unfortunate Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, Punisher and yes Daredevil, Elektra had to turn out the way they did. But among those flops, Daredevil, Elektra and Ghost Rider are neck and neck as the worst. Meaning less money made, less margin for budget to create a sequal.

The Brothers Bloom. Adrien Brody is cool... Mark Ruffalo is... yeah. Thing about movies like this, off-beat quirky dramedies, is that sometimes they get a little too off-beat. The Japanese girl is just weird, as if the director is saying she's too cool not to be weird and thats just stupid. Not to mention, several other characters. A movie can be different but playing up on the bizarre character portrayals while trying to come off serious (in a funny way) kinda fails. Rachel Weisz looks better with longer hair. 7/10
