  1. I'm not sure what you mean there man. What are you having problems with? I could probably help you. Are you trying to make a pack of screenshots for the Xtras?
  2. Got another great homebrew here for the Gameboy Advance. Lockjaw: The Overdose http://www.pineight.com/tod/ Don't play if you're prone to seizures or motion sickness. Seriously..... It's a great game, but will probably give you a headache if you don't take brakes from it.
  3. I'm not sure what I have with MAME. Lots of vids and screenshots, but I haven't looked at it really in almost 2 years.
  4. If you or anybody else works to collect them I'll definately use them if they're better than what I've got already. It probably won't be about a month and a half or more till I get to them if things go well. It would make my job easier down the road.
  5. Except for DOS, I'm not even sure which emus support it. "Is it worth it" is subjective.... I definitely think so since I can play the Kings Quest series with it, and it also helps out with typing anything in XBMC (if memory serves correctly). If you don't use computer emulators though, and you're happy with using the pop up keyboards for typing, it's probably not. Either way, if you have a broken controller it's probably worth it at least for the novelty of it. If you don't care about old DOS games or there isn't some other compelling reason to do it I wouldn't destroy a good XBox controller.
  6. I got one of those. Big 'ol waste of money, that was.... If you've got a broken controller, cut off the cord right at the controller and cut off a USB cable using the end that will plug into a USB hub or directly into your mouse or keyboard. Splicing is easy, since the wires are the same colors on both. I think the XBox has an extra wire, so just tape that one off. Wrap it up with a little electrical tape when you're all done and you're set. Heh... I just noticed that cbagy already said that in another way..... whoops. Anyways... It's real good for X-Com for the PC as well as other games like Kings Quest and Leisure Suit Larry. I'll be honest. Mine has been in a box for ages since I made it too. I've been too busy working on the Xtras to mess around with setting up DOS stuff.
  7. So.... what does 1emu think of my box for the Steven Seagal SNES prototype? Nothing but love for my boy Steven. Dude was in a coma once for 7 years, woke up, and made bodies hit the floor. One for every minute he was in that coma. All while finding the time to have his way with Kelly LeBrock. And I mean the Kelly LeBrock from Weird Science, not the beast from Celebrity Fit Club. I mean, the man is Hard to Kill. He was Half Past Dead, but now he's Out For A Kill himself. He's Above the Law and now he's Out for Justice.... Urban Justice. The man doesn't even flinch knowing he's On Deadly Ground, in The Belly of the Beast. He's one tough son of a bitch, and anyone else who suffered the attack that left those Exit Wounds would probably have a bum Ticker. He's a one man Attack Force on a Filght of Fury, and God have mercy on The Foreigner when The Shadow Man makes an Executive Decision to strap him to a chair and make him watch The Onion Movie. Waterboarding ain't got nothing on The Glimmer Man. When your way of life is Under Siege, Submerged, Pistol Whipped and Under Seige 2: Dark Territory, and there's no one left to turn to..... Steven Seagal is..... THE FINAL OPTION
  8. Good to hear man. If you ever make datfiles to match or do controller configs, let me know.
  9. Well good luck to ya man. If you stick with it and actually make it to the end like waal has done with the Amiga, I'll gladly add any work you've done to the Xtras packs. I just don't have the patience to configure games I never knew what the controls were like in the first place, and after about 4 years I think I've nearly taken this collection as far as I can take it. ~Rx
  10. Spectrum's a computer emu, right? I'm sticking with the console/handhelds because I never had a computer growing up and they take a ton of configuring.
  11. Xtras and synopsis brought up-to-date for Virtual Boy & Pokemon Mini. I'm about mid-way through the Colecovision upgrade now. It was pretty confusing to figure out which games were really prototypes, but I finally got it down. I'm going to spend a day or two touching up boxarts and then I'll make the few remaining videos. I'm running out of console/handheld systems to work on. It feels good.....
  12. Thanks man. I'll think on it and see if I have any others worthy of mention here. There are tons of great game hacks out there, but a true homebrew creation is something special when done right.
  13. I aim to please Just finished the Wonderswan Xtras in about a day and a half. After testing the roms, it was determined that only 32 of the working games were really playable for an English speaking audience, so they're the only ones included in the packs. (Unfortunately, the Final Fantasy translations aren't any good, so they didn't make the cut. You can play them on the Game Boy Advance with better sound anyways, so no biggy). I did the synopsis, collected artwork (boxart for every game, titles, actionshots), and made the 32 videos for it with screen capture software. Gilles has another beautiful skin for this one and the main song is a great guitar version of the Oprah House song from Final Fantasy III (US). Kinda funny now, since there are no Final Fantasy games included anymore, but the song sounds great and a lot of people likely wouldn't know what the song was anyways. I still have a bunch of adds to do for the major systems that people have been coming to me with. Mostly hacks and homebrew at this point... I'm going to keep knocking out these smaller systems and get caught up with all these adds I still have to do. If anybody has any suggestions for game adds not in my spredsheets NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP!!!!!!!! We're quickly approaching D-Day
  14. It works perfectly for me. I only play games on the XBox unless I'm making some crappy videos on my own. It is a NES game though, not an SNES game, so it will not work with ZSNESXBox. You will need to use Mendafenx_NES. Oh... and as far as I know there are only the 4 songs included. Hopefully they expand on that someday.
  15. Yeah superchango, Pretty slick, right? Here's my second favorite homebrew of all time on any system Angry Video Game Nerd K.O. Boxing for the Atari 2600 This game probably could have saved Atari from the video game market crash if it was out back in '83.
  16. Nah... already got it in there about 4 months ago, I think. I just haven't thought much about it until yesterday.
  17. It was close... there are a few really excellent original homebrew games out there for different systems, but this one is the most polished and innovative I've ever seen. Somebody at the other forum was requesting at a real cool computer based "Guitar Hero" clone called "Guitar Fun" could be ported to the box. The general feeling is yes, theoretically. It would require some awesome person who didn't drink a majority of their braincells away like me to code it though. Anyways.... my reply to that thread was "The closest I get to Guitar Hero on my Box is Parappa the Rappa for PSX and the excellent NES homebrew "D-Pad Hero"" It just made me think about that homebrew again and I wanted it to be known that with all my rediculous testing of games on most major consoles/handhelds supported that I really thought this effort stood out above the rest and you should all check it out. http://www.dpadhero.com/Home.html Here's the video for it.... It's really awesome.
  18. LOL.... never heard that one. Ya'all should tell your girls to dress up like the Dark Queen the night of the 15th of March. Probably the only way they'll pull you away from the Box that night.
  19. It will be the bamboo forest, if you see what i mean lol I don't know what you mean ???????
  20. You had been good for the last year and a bit, and so I removed the warning a few weeks back. Welcome to heaven! So I see... The mystery is solved. Is this "Evil" Heaven though because you're an Evil Admin?
  21. yeah man looked like some wierd space ray firing out the base twirling up the sky with its cosmic radiation. Either that or a huge kick ass projector as a prank. lol... not to keep the whole thread derailed, but I saw that video too. Somebody said that when rockets and missiles fly, they can lose their center of gravity (or whatever physics term it was) and can spiral out of control like that. Since missiles are relatively silent, it probably wasn't a rocket since there was no noise, but it did look pretty far away too. My only problem with the theory is that that spiral was perfectly symmetrical and circular instead of oblong or wobbly. Maybe that's how a missile spiraling would be, but I'm just a junior college dropout. Go ask a rocket scientist.
  22. I plan on tackling MAME and FBA after the Xtras releases. I wouldn't expect them by March, but I do plan on making it a whole lot easier for people to get the supporting stuff they need for those systems. They're both still heavily under development too, so I didn't think that doing it right now would be as valuable as doing them last. EDIT: Didn't see your first post before. Thanks for the props. I'm hoping that others will build upon the Xtras when I finally hang up my stirrups.
  23. Updates come out for this thing so much (which is a good thing!!!!) I have no idea where to start. I'm going to wrap up my own projects before I try to wrap my mind about how far behind I am with the ENTIRE arcade scene. Hope I'll have some help doing that when the time comes EDIT: Hey look! My "Warn" percentage went back to 0%! I know I was at 10% for like a year there. I wonder if it aged off like a Misdemeanor or I bought my way into Heaven? Your thoughts?
  24. Hell yeah man... I wouldn't leave ya'all hanging after talkin' about it all this time. HUUUUUUUUGEEEEEEEE and hopefully final (for real) release for all XPORT console based systems planned for somewhere around March 15th. I have finished the GB/GBC/GBA synopsis as well. Still some tweaking and testing to do, but over 2,500 unique entries right now weighing in at over 2MB! Last of the major synopsis files to make is now complete. Videos/Artwork complete for most systems now, although I am still upgrading the sets with the help of others. I also touched up over 300 boxarts for the Atari 2600, NES, Atari Lynx and Atari 7800. No more stickers or beat up boxes. No more signatures on boxes, or other handwritten crap. I've tried to make all of the boxes that I couldn't find good images for look as close to the original artwork to be printed on the boxes as possible. I'm no graphic artist, so I'm sure it could have been done better, but the ones I've fixed look infinitely better than anything I could find online. I'll update my progress here from time to time as well as my own burrough. As always ANY HELP IS WELCOME!!!!!!!!! ~Rx
