there's a reason to that. because other than england, most western (canada, european countries...etc) aren't detested. and the main reason england is also detested is because of the balfourd (sp?) declarations. Interesting to note, that british soliders in Iraq handled the situations much much better than american soliders (i can't remember the article, but the article stated how the british soliders managed to gain people's trust by dealing with them in a human way, while the american soliders were too afraid to let their guns down most of the time... don't blame them though, i'd be god damn afraid to let my gun down, but then again, the reason they were afraid is because the british ones were trained at humanitarian contact better than the american troops) i think it was at robert-fisk.com or cnn, can't recall.

Thankfully, the SMT series is finally hitting shores here. I've heard it took a while because it seemed so anti-christian. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> actually some of it came out. and some of the super nintendo ones were translated (as well as a nes one) some of the gems (like the saturn one) are probably never to be translated. however Persona 1 was released for the psx and persona 2 eternal punishment was released for the psx stupid thing is, is that eternal punishment was part 2 of 2 i.e ( persona 2 : innocent sin , was the first part, and eternal punishment was the second) and yet they never released innocent sin, even with zillions of petitions and God damn good sales of Eternal punishment.

actually the plot of sh1 was very confusing and twisted. tehre was some stuff that hadta do with drugs and hallucinagenics , and a cult, and a fallen angel's sign.... it's messed up. point in hand when pressed on it , i can't remember which designer said there wasn't really much of a plot, sh1 was made as a nightmare simulator, so it only needed a small concept (chasing his daughter) to work, much like most nightmares, the rest wasn't really made to make sense, except in a "i'm dreaming of a nightmare so wierd things make sense " kinda way edit: Oh, and the shin megami tensei series flockING RULES it's WAY better than ANY rpg series i've ever played (except chrono trigger and a few other exceptions) more mature than any (except shadowrun) it's a series that deserves WAY MORE.

Yes, believe it or Not the usa CREATED BEL ADIN, he was OUTCAST from saudi arabia (the same country most people say is the cause of all this terrorist crap) and after he was outcast the CIA trained him and his followers to fight russia, not really to help them, but because IT"S RUSSIA! he also bombed a ASPRIN factory in Sudan. Egypt,Syria, Jordan are pretty much the ONLY arab states sans afghanistan and pakistan with a real military force. and guess who's a neighbour to all three countries? saudi doesn't have an army, us troops are sanctioned in saudi for protection, and they get paid to do so (which is one of the reasons bel adin got outcast in the first place, because he didn't like Americans being in saudi) point in hand. All the leaders of the Arab countries are flocking big ass greedy dumbflocks who are ruining everything, but that STILL does not mean that the west isn't flocking up left right and center. and btw, i had a list ( i hope i can find it ) of EVERY single time the usa government had screwed a country over, INCLUDING democratic governments, just for their gain. so i guess being wary and skeptical (especially when the usa supports the muslim world's biggest enemy ) is a NATURAL thing. (israel gets 3 billion in MILITARY aid, egypt gets 3 billion in normal aid) do i agree with it though? flock NO. but it's not out of the blue.

Silent Hill 1 is the only SH game i've finished (considering i haven't bought a console post psx), u have played teh others though. It's one of the BEST games i've ever played. it honestly deserves the horror game crown alot more than resident evil (however there are some pc games like sanitarium, that would even beat SH) but for a console horror game, NOTHING beats SH.
