GTA NEVER WAS AN RPG! What made you think it was an RPG? If GTA fits your RPG criteria then every game is one. I think before you think of a career in the video game industry, you should get your genres straight.

I love the original GTA (and the London expansion) to death and I enjoyed GTA3 for the most part but got my fill of 3D GTA from that. I mean, how much different can the core gameplay get?

I really loved the Die Hard Arcade game...it was really fun.

I don't want to rain on your Halo 2 loving parade here but GTA:SA sold a significant amount more and was released only a week before. So uh...not that I care since I got bored of GTA but I just wanted to tell you that to make you cry. Now go cry!

This looks pretty nifty though a little goofy. Also, the Monolith responsible for NOLF is way better than this Monolith.

You know what's weird in Nebula, it slows down when it plays Garou but it runs perfectly in Kawaks. I don't know the deal is but that's the main reason I switched from Nebula to Kawaks.

I read this last night when I was searching for a current event article for Molecular and Cellular Biology class. Very interesting stuff, the first thing that came to my head was Pinky and the Brain. That would be so flocking cool, even all the ethicists and people who oppose this would want them to make a real Pinky and the Brain. But If you don't know who Pinky and the Brain are, you've been watching too much anime and need to intake some old fashioned GOOD cartoons. But seriously, they are making these to make better test subjects and to further understand the human condition.

I played MKD at a friend's place and it was cool even though I kept getting my ass kicked.

It's in no ways a bad game, I just don't think it's that spectacular. But mind you, that's my opinion and I'm a picky bastard when it comes to games. 0

I agree with your post. I think Kawaks is a great emulator that does a great job at what it was built to do. However, I'm moving on to FBA and MAME because I can modify them, add games, and are more challenging to get to work, not because Kawaks is any less impressive. My top reason why Kawaks is great (it's not greater than all, they are all good) is the speed it runs games and the blitters.

I equate the massive sales of Halo to the massive sales of tickets for Titanic and Celine Dion albums: they all suck, appeal to morons, and sell very well.

Figures provided by the Entertainment Software Association and NPD Group. Some impressive numbers. I think they perfectly illustrate the huge gap in the console and PC market. It comes to no suprise that many of them develop for console since it's more lucrative. So...I wonder how much piracy affected those numbers.
