I don't know about you guys, but i have this half-Life Generation pack with Half-Life, Team Fortress, Blue Shift, Opposing Force and Counter Strike. That being said, I'm still missing Gunman Chronicles (although that's not half-Life per se) and a few of those high quality mods like They Hunger.

Seriously, taking almost all your weapons at the start of the Hell level and pitting you against those guys is just plain cold. Yes, I do mean that. I don't want to cheat, so i have to go through the painful steps of going up the platform while shooting rockets, hoping that one of the rockets will go through the tiny opening to frag the boss It is really tough when you have to fight through the never ending monsters spawned by the boss. Very memorable. I agree with you there. I think that I've probably never beat that boss the "right" way. God damn it's aggravating to time that rocket just right... + you have to dodge all the crap that flies around while you're at it.

While Soul Calibur II and a number of the Mortal Kombat games are excellent, weapons should stick to those games, not KOF. It just doesn't feel right. (Well, with the exception of some KOF characters that actually wield a weapon of somekind).
