    Yes, that's true. The overall emulation speed is faster when sound is disabled.

    Eh, I don't need it since I have the PSX version (platinum). Some say that it works under XP and some say that it doesn't... So which one is it then?

    Yeah, that's the same feeling I have with PS2 emulation. I'd like to see it just for the fact that they did it but I highly doubt I'd ever use it for serious gaming. Not with the hardware we have now anyways.

    Well, you disable sound in ZiNc. Read the readme, that'll tell you how to do it, since I don't remember. Although I don't see how disabling the sound would help you if you see a black screen.

    I think his answer was directed towards the people that biatch about MAME killing all other multi-arcade emulators such as RAINE. He just said that people should go work on those.

    He's looking for a backup unit, but I'm not sure, since I can't find any info about that. Regardless, most backup units let rom images to be loaded into the unit's memory.
