  1. I always use ll my combo points n one go. And yes, it's really a great game, but I've been heariaring that Disc 2 is subpar compared to the first... Don't know if this is true though. Square moved people from the Xenogears team to work on Final Fantasy VIII. Also, at one point it was almost certain that Xenogears would never see an english translation, since only one person was ultimately in charge of translating the whole script in the end.
  2. But see, James simply doesn't care even though it is the same game and it plays the same. He wants absolute 1:1 romsets when compared to the arcade board. While I don't agree with James, I understand why he wants his romsets to be like like that. Besides, the Neo-Geo is the only system so far that has started debates between emulation purists and those who just want to play games.
  3. Shikigami no Shiro II OST: Music of World Order
  4. DO NOT resurrect topics that over a year old. Jesus Christ.
  5. McCaulay Culkin. He defends Jackson, and from what I've heard, MJ has never done anything to him.
  6. last time I checked, WinZip doesn't handle RARs unless there is a 3rd party RAR program specified in paths.
  7. Haha, Mr. G is a grumpy old man, but I do agree with him.
  8. Yes, you should play it since Ogre Battle on any system kicks ass. If you're into T-RPGs that is.
  9. No, you can't, it's in the rules. A PM probably wouldn't hurt. With 001 etc. files, you mean split archives, right? Sure, make a guide.
  10. Just to let you know, I'm a SOFTWARE PIR8! Arrr, me mateys. I'm docked in a bay nearby, but I fear I need to reboot my ship soon.
  11. Hahahah... I just checked the site and you're right. Nice graphical touch.
  12. See, that's what I've been telling them.. but eh, people have their opinions.
  13. Well, PAL systems run at 50Hz (50fps) while NTSC runs at 60Hz. (~60fps) NTSC is smoother, although PAL has better color handling and higher resolution (625 lines on screen with PAL, 525 lines with NTSC. Most people prefer NTSC simply because it runs faster. Older PAL TVs can't output 60Hz NTSC signal, so you'll either lose color or lose the entire picture if one's TV isn't NTSC compatible. Of course, from an emulation point of view, PC monitors display NTSC and PAL without a hitch, plus you won't see any differences in color.
  14. Yes. Luckily most images floating on the net are already Selfboot (Shenmue included). Otherwise you need a bootdisc.
  15. No you don't need a DVD disc to burn Dreamcast games, but you can't rip them yourself from original disc s either, unless you have a drive that reads GD-ROM discs properly.
  16. Oh they don't huh? I wouldn't have know that since all my images are NTSC.
  17. Strike three. Post suspension.
  18. You just don't get the hint, do you? Strike two.
  19. 1. Wrong damn forum. 2. Read the damn rules next time.
  20. The "official" builds of Snes9x and ZSNES only support specific player specific player netplay only, so no Kaillera on them.
  21. Why did you need a PAL BIOS to play?
  22. As you can see this bios may contain some SNK copyright material. In the grey zone IMO. This is exactly why I haven't liked to the Universe BIOS in the past. And the aforementioned text is more than enough proof.
  23. Hahahahahaha... I've been waiting for this moment for 18 months and it finally happened! Oh god, I'm so saving this thread.
  24. Raw means unedited, original, non-dubbed/subbed version.
  25. It truly is. Half-Life 2. Damn those Striders are so cool but real bitches to take down... Come on, Valve expects me to scrap 3-4 of them just to get out of the courtyard? God damn ridiculous, and I'm running out of rockets.
