  1. I've been meaning to devise something like that for the longest time now, I just have never really put my mouth where my money is. Although, then people wouldn't ask questions so much anymore... :/
  2. I'll give my two cents which may be wrong, so people are free to correct any mistakes. There are no decrypted roms. The encryption on the CPS-2 boards is such a biatch that people with the know-how need to dump the encrypted rom and then start thiking of a way go past the encryption. I'm thinking that the reason the encryption is so hard that the game actually checks if the encryption is still intact before running, and also checks if the necessary whether or not the required data has been changed in any way. Hence why all the necessary files are still there unaltered and intact. The XORs are clones of certain files with the exception that they jump in after the game has done the checkup of the original files and see that they are "ok". So the XOR does it's magic immediately after this 'check' has been completed. In a sense, with the XOR in the archive, the rom is decrypted, and that's the closest you can get to a decrypted CPS-2 game as of now.
  3. See them or frame them and hang them up on the wall. Yeah...I think i will SEE them Agozer! Brilliant idea. Ahem. Sell. Silly me.
  4. Yes, if you want to do it that way.
  5. Ah, that's just BS. People should start visiting nothern-european hubs, that's where the action is.
  6. Sell them or frame them and hang them up on the wall. EDIT: Fixed a glaring typo.
  7. Just a tip to Pandora's box: Click 'Add Reply', not 'New Topic'.
  8. Ha, Weirdy wins.
  9. Farewell. But why did you go through the ttrouble of writing that. Most people who come here and leave never say a word. And remember: look both ways before you cross the street.
  10. I have three subsequent replies. Sexy.
  11. Let's get a few things straight here: Rom images (roms) == games, commercial or homebrewn (aka Public Domain games). When you are asking what games to play on a DS emulator when the emulator doesn't emulate commercial roms (games) at all, the most straightforward answer is... Homebrewn (aka Public Domain games). These are games that are freely distributable on the internet without fear of copyright violations. That being said, homebrewn games are 9.8 times out of 10 a lot more boring than commercial games, although this is just my opinion. Like I said in another thread, even though a DS emulator would run a commercial games, it would run very slowly, and thus be unplayable.
  12. First you get a DS rom, and then you load it in the emulator. Although, you really can't play, since even if the game would run (which I doubt), it would be very slow.
  13. Yes, you have to. Although a more informative topic title wouldn't hurt as this topic won't stay at the top all the time.
  14. There aren't external subtitle files for the raw. Get a fansubbed version.
  15. It doesn't really matter if the d is there in the filename. If NRX doesn't recognize a game that usually means that either the P1 rom or the M1 rom are encrypted, or simply incompatible with NRX. The P roms are encrypted, and won't work with NRX. Same thing with the M1 I suppose. I have a single P1 rom (B87049F2), M1 (396E17CD) and S1 (DF422440).
  16. i've never seen what ur talking about but it sound interesting, do u still have the video or da link? It's somewhere in the internet, but I don't remember where, nor have I saved the link. They both play with fire.
  17. And you bumped this thread because....?
  18. Well, people can use ZiNc while they wait. Minus Tekken Tag of course.
  19. I take it that you are allergic?
  20. The two japanese guys who performed a fight between Kyo and Iori are still a lot better.
  21. True. They prefer domestic players. I'm thinking tht the only reason the Bill-BOX sold at least a little over there was because of Dead or Alive 3 and Ninja Gaiden. The X360 should fare at least a tad better because it's being backed up by major japanese developers who specialize in console RPGs.
  22. I'm glad to hear it.
  23. I think that EGCG NRX recognizes bin files as well, but remaing everything to rom avoid any problems. Post your file and CRC info of the files and I'll see how they match mine.
  24. The are no *good* no-DVD cracks for Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. The only way you can ever get it to work is to mount it with Daemon Tools, install it, use a few tools that are available (like SCure or StarForce Nightmare) which go around the StarForce protection by disabling your IDE drives, and then mounting a so-called "mini-image" to simulate a no-DVD crack. Due to the nature of StarFroce and how it's implemented in POP3, no burned copies work. There are quite a number of sites that explain how to get POP3 working, but it takes a bit of work. If you want a proper crack, you'll have to wait. StarForce, like any other copy-protection can be cracked. Many games that use SF have been cracked already. But the way SF tries to interfere with the hardware by resetting the DVD-ROM drive at a certain point, makes it hard to bypass. Not impossible, but hard.
  25. Would you expect anything more than that from a King of Fighters title? I wouldn't. That doesn't mean that the animae isn't enjoyable, unless you really must have meaningful and deep storylines.
