I've always wondered: What is it with you Brits and your undying love for Football Manager? I find it to be one of the most boring "games" I've ever "played". Then again, I'm not much of a sports fan to begin with. Seriously, what makes that game (or rather, all the games in the same genre) so special?

The good: - Being developed by Ninja Theory - Gritty is good, and the style seems to be intact - Looks neat graphically The bad: - Not being developed by the same team as before, instead Capcom has given the series to a western developer. - If the "real" Dante is not in the game, it's not really a Devil May Cry game, despite the seemingly edgy DMC moniker. - The music (the little we hear of it in this trailer) doesn't seem to fit well, considering the style of the soundtracks in the other games. Ok, so this is just a teaser trailer, so the actual game might still be awesome sauce.

400 hours is pretty damn respectable. Personally, I have 169 hours poured into Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Before that, the only game that I had 100+ hours was Shadow Hearts: Covenant with 131 hours at the last save point. don't sweat it, I have the same problem as you do. I have hundreds of titles, many many which I've had for more than 4-5 years, but haven't finished them. It's not like I'm bored of them, far from it... it's just... too many other games to play. I guess my problem lies in priorities.

Yeah, I've been watching a similar show (don't know if it was the same Hoarders show, though), and every time I see one of the episodes, I'm glad that me and none of my immediately family and friends have such a "disorder".

Correction: Suikoden is not on sale on European PSN, which also illustrates my biggest gripe with Sony and their policy on PSX games on PlayStation Network; we could finally get to legally buy and play the games Europeans never got, yet we only get a truckload mediocre PAL releases and only a handful of true AAA titles. Of course, Sony's answer to this is licensing. [/rant] Yeah, so Suikoden. I have played it though, definitely worth it. The original PAL version goes for premium around here.

BIOS sets and romsets go to whichever directory you've set as a working ROM directory. If you go by MAME's default settings the directory is named 'roms'. Why are you using MAME Plus 0.83? The latest version is 0.139u2. v0.83 is probably is probably six or seven years old. Having experience with your PSP doesn't count.

I liked it quite a bit. Nice atmosphere, and one really bitch of a section near the end of the game. The only gripe I have with the game is that half of the Trophies in the game have to be acquired through multiplayer.

And I ran it on a computer with 512MB of RAM. Well anyway, uTorrent uses 3-5 MB of RAM with the three jobs I keep there, so it's just fine and dandy.

I use BT daily, so uTorrent is an obvious choice for me. The reason I don't use Azureus is that I tend to shy away from any application written in Java. My computer isn't exactly 15 years old (15 years is a huge exaggeration in itself), but I still think that Java programs can be resource hogs. Then again, Java has come a long way since I first touched Azureus, and whatever animosity I still have is misplaced, who knows.

Yeah. 3.42 released a few hours ago. I wish Sony would gives us useful features that people have been begging for months if not years instead of "security updates" every three months or so. Well, on the plus side, Sony has hinted at a very comprehensive update by the end of the years that should offer lots of true fixes, including lots of fixes for that trash called the PS3 Browser. Hell, we might even get a completely new browser and not shit based on something as worthless as NetFront.

How paranoid can you get? Using uTorrent is a no-brainer, regardless of version and no, it's wasn't bought by some company who helps fund the MAFIAA. Plus, many torrent sites block old versions of uTorrent anyway. For the record, uTorrent was "bought" by BitTorrent, Inc.

Yes, get a modchip. Swapping is never a 100% sure way to load backups. Ever. There are cases when certain games are coded in ways that prevent swapping. I don't know if New Nightmare is one o them.

I've grown very skeptical towards Mortal Kombat. Due to this, I'm not exactly jumping for joy even after seeing that rather impressive trailer. MvC3 can rest easy and very comfortably, unless a true miracle happens. Miracles haven't really happened in the past with MK, though.

Yeah. Took me forever and a day to beat that boss, though. Two forms, and a few dozen "weak point" cores. Fuck the one that's attached to it's back. Its triple laser sweep move is also pretty nasty. Yeah my only fault with the game is you run out of ammo pretty damn fast. Beat the boss with barely ammo left and I'm like if this last mg clip doesn't do it fuck. Yeah, tell me about it. There's only like four or five gun crates/stands on the whole platform where the fight takes place, and two of them give you grenades instead of more dakka.
