  1. Good to hear. Don't forget the trusty stomp. No need to waste ammo by shooting item crates when you can stomp them. Stomping enemies means an instant kill, but since the stomp has such pitiful range, every such attempt is very risky. Well, best used against crawling Necromorphs I reckon. Oh, and beware of the reanimator Necromorphs, those guys are nasty if you let them mosey around for too long.
  2. I love the Ripper. It's one of my most used weapons currently. Nothing like firing a sawblade that levitates and spins in place at the tip of the gun, and then you can tango with the nearest skin cancer patient on the Ishimura. Yeah, Dead Space is awesome, despite borrowing rather heavily from RE4. Upgrading guns properly can take a lot of time, since you need to make sure that you have enough power nodes to open locked doors, not to mention upgrading the AIR and HP parts of the RIG suit. Those power nodes are hard to come by, too.
  3. Inventory capacity is upgraded via RIG suit upgrades. You manage your inventory effectively by storing stuff you don't need (excess ammo, oxygen tanks, stasis modules, etc.) in the nearest Shop/Storage terminal. The only real bad things in Dead Space are the lack of a 180 degree turn, and completing some objective often results in every god damn Necromorph and their mother homing in on you. These "horde" situations can be really difficult at times, which makes the proper use of the Kinesis and Stasis ever so important. Don't forget that most rooms have all sorts of loose junk you can grab and throw around before you find yourself surrounded. Of course, always aim at the limbs. Especially the Line Gun aimed at the limbs can help a lot even though leg amputation rarely kills outright. Its secondary fire mode is also great, but you need to be ready to for the timer and not get caught in the blast radius. I wouldn't call the game unfair, though. It seems to me that you are in an exact same kind of predicament that you were in Resident Evil 4 some time ago.
  4. Resonance of Fate The battle system is tits
  5. In my experience, motion controls in games make the games harder than they should be, because motion controls lack precision. Also, with action games, you always don't have the time to suddenly start fiddling with some game mechanic that requires quick and accurate use of motion controls. With the PS3 and the SIXAXIS, there are only a handful of games that implement motion controls properly. So far, anyway. Flower being one, and small bits in F.E.A.R. 2 and Killzone 2. Heavenly Sword on the other hand is one of those games that is chock full of motion control stuff, but fortunately, you can turn off the more annoying features. The worst kind of games are the ones that offer no option to turn these features off.
  6. Looks like I was right; I have no business in this thread. For the sake of this thread though, my vote goes for Kosigrim. He's just manly.
  7. Just finished Ichoban Ushiro no Daimaou. A Promising start, but the awesomeness sorta waned as the series went on. Still, not too bad. Watching: Dragonaut The Resonance. Really weird, but interesting enough, I suppose.
  8. The new Sekirei already started, and he rest are promising, save Digimon and probably Osaka Hamlet.
  9. And it's being developed by Platinum Games.
  10. Uncharted 3 has been announced, just not any details.
  11. It's funny how all the people who are always criticizing games or Internet or what have you, are the ones who've never even touched said mediums. When given the chance to do so or when confronted by well-thought counterarguments, they decline for the strangest reasons or get all defensive with even weaker arguments.
  12. Vanquish, MGS: Rising and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Of course, Dead Space 2 too.
  13. Not much of a beer person, but if I had to choose, I'd probably choose Lapin Kulta or Karhu (non-Finns can wiki the details).
  14. Yeah, I figured that it must be the shots factory you're after. I haven't touched Nebula in a while, so I can't say if 2.25b is fully unlocked; perhaps it is in which case I'm misinformed. Yes, you are correct in that you can edit NEOGEO.DAT with a plain text editor just fine. Did you try this DAT? Note that sizes and CRC pretty much need to match. 15. Luka is a guy in Bayonetta. Anywho, some FEAR 2 now.
  16. No, there isn't. Inputs styles are hard coded into games. It's not something that can be changed with plugins anyway. If certain inputs can be shortened or streamlined, then it's a design feature, which is not necessarily officially documented.
  17. You need a hacked version of nebula 2.25 that allows you to create your own DATs, and preferably a non-decrypted set (one that works a-ok in something as ancient as NeoRAGEx), unless you happen to come across a DAT that has the correct decryption key value. Having said that, why are you going through all this trouble? Why not just use a better emulator, like say, FBA or FBA Shuffle, which supports King of Fighters 2003 as is without all the extra hassle? Hell, even MAME is an alternative. Blame ElSemi for not bringing his emulator up to scratch.
  18. How far along are you, exactly? I'm almost done with Hard Mode (Chapter 12 is an absolute bitch) and trying to get my Normal time under 3 hours, which seems easier said than done.
  19. Yes. haven't played the first Uncharted, but the sequel is gaming bliss. Co-op especially.
  20. Looks damn pretty, at least. Anything in the spirit of Rez gets a green light from me, Kinect notwithstanding. I don't have the room for something like Kinect or Move, though.
  21. Flower. This is one of those truly feel-good games. Bought Flower and After Burner Climax. Had tried ABC yet.
  22. Have you even read this http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17613? You really should stick with VBA-M and not look at No$Gba for your GBA needs. DS emulation is a different matter, though. To answer your actual questions, proper in-game saves can be freely transferred between different emulators provided that the initial save file creation worked perfectly. Save states can't be transferred between emulators for fairly obvious reasons, and no converters exist.
  23. Personally, I really like the cel-shading touches in Prince of Persia and Street Fighter IV.
  24. How could it not be possible?
  25. Sorry, I'm not on Facebook, so I'll pass.
