i am hoping that deathsmiles gets a pal release at some point.at least raiden fighters aces is getting released in the ukon august 20th. BTW did you pick up espgalauda 2 and mushimelisima futari black label for the 360?they are both japanese releases but they are region free.i have them both and i would recommend them.

is it any good?? the nearest game i have to this is cotton and its 2 sequels both on the sega saturn. cotton 2 saturn. by the way i am sure you have heard of parodius which was released in the arcades and the snes,ps1 and saturn.well there is a sequel of sorts being released in the us and canada for the 360 by konami called otomedius gorgous.

the support i want to see is ps1 and sharp x68000,simply because of the great arcade titles these emus offer.

i am presuming you have a jtagged 360,if so you could try coinops and final burn legends with the hacked xbox1 emualtor for 360.

I dont know which Xbox version I have. The MFG date is 2005/04/13, so I guess it should be a 1.6 . It is modded with an Aladdin and the bios is EvoX. well i dont know if you need to reformat your drive,seeing as bendermameox loads up the games quicker.but anyway seeing as you xbox is chipped you could just download the slayers auto installer disc 2.7. with this disc you can basically reformat your xbox hdd.just dont go ahead and reformat your hdd just yet as that miht not be the problem.

if you just want to play nba jam and not nba jam TE then use mamex-b6 as this emulates nba jam best in my opinion.a while back i put mamex-b6 and mameox 0.72 on my xbox to compare betwwen the 2 for the midway games and i found that nba jam played smoother on b6. also the arcade version of mortal kombat 4 will not emulate on xbox because mame on xbox needs a lot of horspower to play these 3d games and the xbox just does not have it. BUT you can play mortal kombat 4 the n64 version on sureall 64,but in my opinion it plays a little to slow but if you play the ps1 port of mk4 on pcsxbox then it plays just fine. always surprised me that mortal kombat 4 was never on the midway arcades treasures disc for xbox.

IIRC the cores for kixxx and final burn were added,so that is why you can launch the sega games.but for KI you need the kixxx emulator inside the coinops folder and you have to rename the kixxx default.xbe to something else,cant remember though.

good question and to be honest i have not tried linux on xbox,there is of course DSLx(damn small linux)but i am not sure if that would boot emulators. i was merely speculating but it would certainly be interesting to see the results.

yeah but playing on an emulator fullscreen on a 37inch lcd makes a big difference.never was a fan of the gba screen and i still havent played a DS yet.

Sharp X68000 on coinops would be good even though it is keyboard based,a lot of the games if not most do not require you using the keyboard. for example this. one of my fave shooters and just listen to the music.

with you having an upgraded processer and more ram i wonder if it would possible to run the linux port of the saturn emulator satourne under linux on the xbox. it could be possible to try other linux ported emulators on xbox like mame or bbc miro or whatever. just a thought.

there is just something about 32bit 3d fighters that i dont like,well i know what is it is the grainy looking polygons.but they got it right on tekken 3 on ps1.

i get a whopping FULLfps on my modded saturn. just so you know regasrding the ps1 arcade hardware games like ridge racer series and tekken series,they might still not be great as the driver might need updated.so it might not just be your xbox,it could be software relasted.that is if you get a lot of slowdown that is. also you might want to try virtua fighter as well. dont waste your time tring the sega saturn based arcade games namely these. http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=711 driver needs updated on those ones.

i forgot about nba jam,also mameox 0.72 plays nba jam TE pretty well but the ps1 port is pretty much arcade perfect so i just use that on pcsxbox.
