i dont think you can remap console games in coinops only the arcade games i am afraid.
-
@nuvo you can add the 4 player version of tmnt1,2 and the simpsons yourself just download from any romsite and add to your roms folder and rescan.

ourun 2006 coast to coast was a multiformat release ps2,xbox and psp and was basically a port of outrun 2 sp(xbox vesion was the best).but outrun2 which came out first was a xbox exclusive and included 2-3 new tracks which were not in the arcade game. these new tracks were from 2 sega arcade racing games which were never ported to any console namely daytona usa 2 and scud race and also the outrun 2 arcade game was made with xbox hardware so you are also getting an arcade perfect port. like i said they are exclusive tracks on the xbox and you can not play these tracks anywhere else BTW if you like arcade shmups, then checkout the following shikigami no shiro shikigami no shiro evo shikigami no shiro 2 psyvariar extend edition. these were the only arcade shmups that were ported to the xbox and were xbox exclusives.

@ace9094 the keymapping is permanent one you change it for different games.

you can remap your games ingame without messing around with any config files. just pause the game and enter the ingame menu then do the following 1.find the ingame controls(should be under general settings or something like that) 2.go to whichever buttons you want to remap and hit the A button then select which button you want to remap it to. very simple to do.

play the ps1 version of raiden2 which is an arcade perfect port on pcsxbox,in fact i think it was added to coinops.the ps1 version that is.

damn right its an option you are overlooking and it is very easy to do,xbmc, emulators all look great in 720phd well thats what i set mines at you can have 1080i if you wish.also a lot of xbox games display in hd games like soul calibur 2,dead or alive ultimate, dead or alive 3,ninja gaiden black.....loads in 720p hd. get a xbox component cable from ebay. once you get a compnent cable then you have to do the following steps, this is presuming you have a pal xbox. 1.get a hold of the video switcher app(i can help with that)then set your region to ntsc with this app. 2.then you will need the xbox retail dash, you might have it already on your xbox but again very easy to get a hold of.once in the retail dash go to video settings and set all the hd modes on in other words 480p,720p and 1080p. 3.then reboot and viola your done.obviously make sure you have the component cable set up first.

Here is a great piece of homebrew for the gba that is currently being worked on and its called holy hell. original website http://holyhellgba.blogspot.com/ info The correct color weapon destroy blocks of the same color. Adjacent blocks of the same color will explode creating a CHAIN reaction. Shooting continuously at the same color blocks will rise up your CHAIN meter as a score multiplyer. Drag over a block of the same color of your ship will charge your bomb gauge. scoring mechanic/gameplay here you can find a "simple" explanation of the scoring system used in the game. shooting one block gives you 1pt shooting 100 blocks of the same color continuously makes you reach color COMBO. combo add to your score 10000pt. any combo loop you realize without dying, multiply the value of a block x10. the max value of a block is 1000pt. any combo loop you realize without dying makes you gain 1000pt x total combo at the end of a level. destroying any block in a level makes you gain 30000pt. NEVER shooting and only eating blocks of your color makes you gain 5000pt any level you pass. using bomb and destroying more than 10 blocks at a time makes you gain 100pt using bomb and destroying more than 50 blocks at a time makes you gain 500pt eating more than 8 blocks without shooting bomb rise the value of a block to 10pt eating more than 50 blocks without shooting bomb rise the value of a block to 100pt eating more than 100 blocks without shooting bomb rise the value of a block to 1000pt and actives "block eater" mode. when "block eater" mode is active you can use your bomb freely and the blocks still give you 1000pt each link. http://www.mediafire.com/?vtwy7anmwgt09lu plays fine on xboyadvance. thanks go to the original developer for this new game.

r3 is posted at a few different sites now.

i am presuming megaman 8bit deathmatch does not contain any actual wad files for the game? WAD files for the game are included, but you can't just use the WAD alone in any Doom source port aside from skulltag as far as I know. The changes are quite extensive. Xboyadvance, the madmab version, allows you to set two different screen resolutions, one for GBA and one for regular gameboy. That would be nice to have because right now in coinops only one can be proper resolution and the other gets stretched. have you tried the wad file for megaman deathmatch in odamex??

jodo you might want to delete that link because we are not to link to sites with rom, xbox games and stuff like that on this site, just letting you know dude.
-
the games you mentioned actually run on mameox0.72 so that is the core that is needed if you are going to attempt it.
-
post some pics then when its finished..

if you have another dashboard like unleashx on your xbox then that might let you change it back to the original name.
-
i dont know if you are playing off a disc or off you hdd but if you use xbmc to ftp megaman8 then that shortens the file name so it works with the fat-x 41 character limitation. it could also be possible for you to alter the txt file in which the games are listed to a shorter name, but i am not 100% sure about that best see what bp thinks. also looking at the pcsxbox compatibilty list megaman 8 and star wars dark forces seem to play fine, maybe you might need to use the standalone pcsxbox emulator for those 2 games. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=238506

for anyone who is interested you might notice that the sound in mk2 is very low if you go into the ingame menu and activate the dipswitches then there is an option to make the sound louder. i think this should work for nba jam and nba jam te if you wish. thanks to evil1 for posting about this.

if you are wanting to remap games then this is very easy to do. just go to the ingame menu as usual then go to general options or something like that, you should see the control options for up,down, left, right, button 1 and so on.just highlight one of the in game controls and hit the A button on your controller then select whichever button or control you want to use, then leave it and your new controller option should appear.
