just released yesterday is the xbox version of Re-volt by acclaim. this game got released on ps1,dreamcast and n64,but the xbox version was in development but got cancelled. this is not a demo but the full version as far as development of it went.there might be one or two bugs as i havent had the chance to try it out yet but it is confimed as working. thanks go to Pikkon for releasing this. info. The game featured 28 stock cars and 14 tracks including a stunt arena for free roaming. Cars come in three fuel variants; electric, glow (internal combustion) and special. The players driving ability will place them into various categories so that they race against other cars of similar capabilities. These capabilities are classified in categories which are: Rookie, Amateur, Advanced, Semi-Pro and Pro. Tracks are also categorized depending on their difficulty to master and win. These categories are: Easy, Medium, Hard and Extreme. Cars and tracks are both unlocked through success in the game's tournament modes. Single Race allows 2-4 players on the Console Versions and 2-12 players on the PC Version to race on the normal, single-player tracks. Within each race, competitors race to be the first to complete a pre-set number of laps of the circuit. To aid them in this there are a variety of lightning-bolt shaped pick-ups lying around the track. Collecting one of these provides the player with a random weapon varying from oil slicks to fireworks to batteries that increase your speed for a short period of time. The worse a player is doing in the race, the more likely one of the better weapons will be obtained, and vice versa. there is also a track editor on this as well. vid.

the only thing i can suggest is going to the screen adjust in the main settings and adjust it to suit. Is it possible to do this per game? I'd rather not change it globally each time. unfortunatly not as it will display every game and the rom select screen the same.

yeah i read that it was using the sh-4 core,i remember a while back seeing some vids on youtube of games like deathsmiles,mushi futari,ibara and so on all running on dcemul. which must be using the sh-4 core as well,i am assuming that anyway.

just released today are the mame roms for the cave arcade games Mushihime Sama+Mushihime Sama v1.5+ Puzzle-Mushihime-Tama. These games run on the cave sh-3 arcade board and have been added to mame 0.142u3. the games are not yet playable but hopefully thy should be playable in the next release. vids. the thing with megaupload is when a file of this size is uplaoded then it will time out because lots of people are trying to download it. as a lot of people who do not accounts at megaupload will be trying to download it then it will time out for a lot of people,even members will get timed out. always best to wait at least 24 hours i say. edit/also dont post these coinops2 links just yet at snesorama,give them a few days because if you do then loads of people will start downloading and the timeouts will end up being more frequent.

yeah there are some neat effects in this game you get a good sense of speed when you hit the nitro,always preferred the sequel to the original myself.

has anyone here ever played wreckless the yakuza missions and its sequel double steal the wreckless missions(xbox exclusive and only released in japan). these 2 games are amongst the best racing games on xbox in my opinion after outrun2,outrun 2006 and burnout 3. they are both mission based driving games with the premise on smashing the bad guys cars,basically chase hq. BTW these games play in720p hd if you have the compnent cables. here is a gameplay vid of wreckless. here is a vid of its sequel an xbox japanese exclusive called double steal(this has english menus) just posting this incase anyone has never played these 2 great games before.

i havent tried it yet as i only just got it.just copy over some roms from fbl or mame and test it out,there is a dat file included which should help you out when it comes to the roms.

A600 does it again,this time with a port of the pc arcade emulator Raine. What is raine. This is a port by A600 of Raine to the Xbox. Raine is a arcade emulator which emulates some games which use M68000 or M68020 CPU's. The main focus is on emulating Taito and Jaleco games. The emulator is well written and is capable of emulating some games which MAME can't emulate. whay gun games are you having problems with? is this through emulation or actual xbox games.

just dont use any filters,leave it on normal as i have not had any crashes.

i dont use the video filters,i just use it on normal as i like that slight pixelated look.

yeah it plays fine on a jtag 360,i havent tried it myself as i am just using my original xbox for it.

i remember there being an old megadrive game based on this by treasure.
