no i dont know the mame team and neither do you,this is emulation after all and this is an emulation site. if you are not happy with these roms being dumped then i suggest you take it up with the person who dumped the roms in the first place instead of constantly moaning and complaining at some members of this site which you have done on several occasions. look at the name of the site and surprise yourself oh and by the way how are your FULL romsets doing.

just put half your roms into another folder name it say roms2 and then put in the coinops folder. then go into the advanced settings in coinops and set one of the other rompaths to find roms2,job done.

i am hoping the fantasy zone 2dx driver can be found at some point as it really is fantastic arcade game.

arcade games arent pointless to me as they offer playablility which is lacking in todays games.just pick up and play as for the nostalgia factor im sure with some games there is that for some people but its also finding games you never played before,the hidden gems so to speak. also the amount of people using an xbox for cabs now seems to be increasing. Well Fu, actually that depends of what kind of gameplay you want. You know we both share a common interest on retrogaming. But I prefer console and computers instead of games that were originally designed to make you put coins in a machine. But I also admit arcade game aren't only limited to this aspect. arcade probably gives you the best and purest form of playabilty,no messing around with options,everything ready to go so to speak. i would say the purest form of playability you can get in arcade games has to be sega they wrote the rulebook on it in my opinion.

yeah you probably did make a vid for the jap version,at least with this version its all in english. did you include xybots and robocop vs terminator for the nes in the xtras as well?these were both unreleased games as well.

no probs,i actually forgot to include the download link in the first post,link added. this wont ever be playable on a xbox it uses a sh-3 chip,the xbox just dosent have the oomph to emulate it.but you can play the ps2 port which is better in my opinion. going to post an unreleased nes game next.

added to the newest version of mame is the insane shmup by cave called ibara. this game also saw a ps2 port and is a fantastic 2d shmup,caves finest in my opinion. download. *snip*

not sure where the final burn drivers would be available at,neosource would be my best geuss,hope this does make its way to coinops as i love this game on ps2 and to have it emulated in 720p in coinops would be great.

i do know that fbaxxx pro lets you reconfigure a x arcade stick.

you put the n64 rom into the roms folder,then you put what is called a pointer file into the n64hidefroms folder if you want to play in hd or if you just want to play in normal sd then put the pointer file into the romsn64 folder. a pointer file is just an empty folder which is named the same as the rom you want to play.you just zip the empty folder up and put the empty zip file into one of those folders i mentioned above and then rescan your roms.

make sure there is some roms in the roms folder and maybe best to delete the gamesave in t and u data,then reboot your xbox and try again.

It looks like in the newest version of mame a new shmup has been added called baryon. this game was first released on the amiga and then arcade versionwas released a few years after. it looks like the game runs using the arcade hardware as ashura blade and ashura buster.iq 132 has been working on a driver for this game by the look of it. http://neosource.1emu.net/forums/index.php...32.msg12329#new the game has just been added to the newest revision of mame but it seems the driver still needs some work. hopefully at some point this will be playable in final burn legends or coinops. link for baryon rom. http://www.mediafire.com/?vx47by44bje0l16

i like the bubble bobble series of games,i find the sharp x68000 version of bubble bobble is better than the arcade version and the music just sounds SO much better. actually while we are talking about bubble bobble i managed to get bubble bobble md(korean megadrive version) of bubble bobble working on my jtag 360 with the newest version of the genesis plus 360. here is the megadrive version if anyone hasnt seen it. its a pity this isnt playable on any megadrive emu for xbox,i geuss neogenesis would need a core update before it could be played as its a fantastic update.

i see bp added a new bubble bobble hack called bubble bobble ultimate in coinops.the only bubble bobble hack i can find is called bubble bobble ultra which was just completed in may.so i am assuming it is bubble bobble ultra is the correct name. i havent tested this rom in the new release of coinops yet as i dont have it installed yet but i tried it quickly in xraine and it works great. the rom has to be unzipped to play on xraine. i have included the unzipped patched rom for xraine and patched .zip rom for coinops(named correctly) in this download. info here abou this hack. download link. *snip* so use with the new coinops release or the xraine emu. thanks to jackhammer over at emup for patching the rom for me.
