make sure there is some roms in the roms folder and maybe best to delete the gamesave in t and u data,then reboot your xbox and try again.

It looks like in the newest version of mame a new shmup has been added called baryon. this game was first released on the amiga and then arcade versionwas released a few years after. it looks like the game runs using the arcade hardware as ashura blade and ashura buster.iq 132 has been working on a driver for this game by the look of it. http://neosource.1emu.net/forums/index.php...32.msg12329#new the game has just been added to the newest revision of mame but it seems the driver still needs some work. hopefully at some point this will be playable in final burn legends or coinops. link for baryon rom. http://www.mediafire.com/?vx47by44bje0l16

i like the bubble bobble series of games,i find the sharp x68000 version of bubble bobble is better than the arcade version and the music just sounds SO much better. actually while we are talking about bubble bobble i managed to get bubble bobble md(korean megadrive version) of bubble bobble working on my jtag 360 with the newest version of the genesis plus 360. here is the megadrive version if anyone hasnt seen it. its a pity this isnt playable on any megadrive emu for xbox,i geuss neogenesis would need a core update before it could be played as its a fantastic update.

i see bp added a new bubble bobble hack called bubble bobble ultimate in coinops.the only bubble bobble hack i can find is called bubble bobble ultra which was just completed in may.so i am assuming it is bubble bobble ultra is the correct name. i havent tested this rom in the new release of coinops yet as i dont have it installed yet but i tried it quickly in xraine and it works great. the rom has to be unzipped to play on xraine. i have included the unzipped patched rom for xraine and patched .zip rom for coinops(named correctly) in this download. info here abou this hack. download link. *snip* so use with the new coinops release or the xraine emu. thanks to jackhammer over at emup for patching the rom for me.

lantus has released mame 0.72 for jtag 360s. apart from neogenesis there is xenesis and dgen but they are all based off gens for pc so i cant see it happening unless i find another way. final burn legends has a megadrive emu but it is specific with just cerain roms as in the hazemd roms.

as the title says has anyone managed to get this great looking pirate game called super bubble bobble playable on any of the megadrive emus on xbox? this looks a great game and one of best megadrive pirate games i have seen.

i remember reading a while back something about avalaunch having issues with ftp when it came to naming conventions,so i would defin itly try moving it to the games folder to see. also because you have a chipped xbox you could always download slayers auto installer disc and install a better dashboard like unleashx or xbmc.

yeah you can play mk1 and mk2 at a better speed with mamex-b6(very old version of mame for xbox) this is the alternate core that bp added to coinops and they play really well.there was a port of mame 0.122 to the 360 called mame360 and it plays the mk games slowly,go on youtube and you will see some vids of it in action. thing is mame360 was a quick port IIRC and wasnt optimised for these midway games actually there are quite a few games on mame360 which dont play full speed from what i have been told. BTW also forgot to say that primal rage will be full speed as well.

do you have 2 folders in your emus folder called coinops?or named differently this sounds like an ftp issue,wonder if you should maybe move coinops2 to your games folder just to try and then move the default.xbe in there as well. give it a try you might have better luck sas this does sound like an ftp naming issue to me anyway.
