whats the name of the nes emu u are using? so your gonna build a cab for your xbox ive seen a few of those cabs on youtube they look really smart is the cost gonna be a lot for that or is it cheaper than i mght be thinking? ps some emulators want accept art (screenshot/images). so what are you saying did you delete the old png image files first then add your own? or did you just add the files you had to the existing picture/image folder?

ive got half life 2 on the xbox already! is it worth me buying this whole package for the 360!

i just checked my list just now as well never realised it was missing. i remember a while back reading a thread in which. somebody asked about adding roms and im sure britneyspairs(the guy who put this package together) said that it was possible but you had to change i think the ini file (which is way above my head those sortof things) britneyspairs sometimes answers questions about mamedox in this forum so he might give you an answer! there is mamedox1.1 which allows you add whichever roms you want and im sure it also comes with a screenshot image for each game you could try that maybe just download mamedox1.1 and add the roms from mamedox platinum to it and possibly move all the screenshot images from platinum to mamedox. mamedox platinum is a more user friendly package compared to mamedox1.1 and mameox 128plus! dont know if thats any help to you but it might worth getting a hold of mamedox1.1 and trying it out!

Alot of 2d side-scrolling fighting games had the really hard to kill boss, Final Fight I remember was the worst for cheap shots yeah he was tough. i always hated the lavel boss on the prominard stage remember the guy used to charge up his face would gored and hed basically clothesline ye.he always got me!

hey veresitic im sure i read somewhere you can get a cable of some kind to connect to your psp and you connect it to your ps3 and you can play it on the old goggle box!

ok first off i dont think that patch was ever released! but the quick and simple answer is if you want to use different characters then port1 is marge port2 is homer port is bart port4 is lisa just change your controller for into different port for to access the differnet characters. this works for 2player or even 3 player obviously! no point in looking for a patch and mamedox platinum dosent let you add roms coz there isnt a scan function.i think it is possible to add roms but it would mean changing/editing the ini file i think not really worth the hasstle stick with the simple method id say!

marcads never heard of that one even thoug i dont have a ds! does that one play any cps games or is the horsepower not there in the ds. double post i know but just wanted to list a few findings. psp mame is now up to its third version 0.03. apparently in its second version it was having some problems loading roms larger than 10mb. the developer of the emulator apparently is working on loading roms through wifi! and there is apparently better game compatibility now but i couldnt find a newer or updated list. its looking very promising and there is also a neogeo emulator for psp running at full speed. so i think this would be worth trying out. ninja turtles on the train

well im sure there is a version of mame for psp caled mame4all. there is also a dreamcast version and gp2x version. i remember seeing a compatibility list a while ago,and games like the ninja turtles,eswat,the simpsons andsuch were compatible im sure this is the best version of mame for psp. but i was wondering if there had been an update with better compatibility. as far i can see itll play games from the early 80s and early90s. cps1 and 2 games have their own emulators for psp running at full speed. ill do a search on mame4all psp compatibility

yeah im the same great for emulation.ive got all the emulators you mentioned been playing a lot of surreal64 lately! sin and punishment fzerox-a nuts racer! hell ive even got a c64 emu and the atari2600 emu whatever you do dont play e.t. on that emu the worst game ever made! actually a little bit more back on topic i always wondered that because the 360 is backwards compatible with original xbox,if there was some way to reverse engineer that side of the 360 so that it could run all the original xboxs apps and emus. and if that was possible then maybe you could then utilise the 360s horsepower to then start improving those emulators and apps through some sort of exploit possibly.this is all hearsay of course it will get cracked eventually. will just have to play the waiting game!

hi everyone! ive had a psp for a while now and i downgraded the firmware myself to version 1.5. ive got cps2psp emulator with progear excellent shooter.ive tried megadrive and snes emulation on the psp worked fine for me.but what iwant to know is how is mame on psp coming along. does it play just the really old style games or is stuff like mortal kombat and the streetfighter alpha games playable! retro forever
