I am only concerned with media durability and space and will go with anything that offers that to me at a reasonable price, so far, DVD is fine with me another thing that you have to think of is that evertyhing oyu have already uses DVD, so to replace it, you will not only need to get a blu-ray hd-dvd player, but also a drive for your pc, one for your music system, etc, etc, and whenever you want to carry some of your struff with you your friends will need to have that too, I only adopt new media when it becomes widely used and something standard, well, you get my point....

yeah it doesn't necessarily need to be illegitimate stuff, you can also get open source programs and publicly available music or books like for example linux programs and books and mp3 from underground bands who make some of their work available on the internet, speaking about music bands....radiohead that has their latest album available on the internet and you pay whatever price you put to the disc so if you want you can just download it for free or pay $100 for it depending o how much is their work worth to you

This code of ethics within a community that 9 out of 10 times STEALS and claims as their own disgusts me. How can you tell others not to distribute your work when 1: It's not yours, you ripped sprites (9/10 times) 2: You let it escape from your very own hard drive. This part of the MUGEN community needs to die. The elitest attitude of man involved is so god damn childish it's not funny...........though I don't find this surprising of fighting game fans who treat fighting games like it's life or death that you learn a bunch of button combinations and think you're talented. less diplomatic than myself but yeah I am with you, I don't care about the ripped sprites, since you may or may not have permissions to use them but that elitest attitude is annoying and betrays the spirit of the creators of MUGEN whoe released their work withut any problem. It is also worth mentioning that not all authors are like this and you can also find lots of open minded people in the community. Congratulations to all of them.
