1. I'm 100% with you on this. It would have been nice if instead of trying to fit in decades of storyline in 2 hours, they would have tried to create stand-alone stories.
2. Well, you suck. Futurama was hilarious indeed. A renewal will make me very happy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, I just remembered why I enjoyed Futurama so much! Because it had an actual storyline!
3. I never saw why it was popular in the first place... please don't flame me. =X I hope it does gets renewed though, I really enjoyed it.

Your opinions are bias, you said it yourself fan boy. Besides, I answered your question. SNK won't release this until it's arcade cycle is done.
The gfx are what you would expect of SNK, only alot better since it's for Atomiswave. For the record, I'm a SNK Fanboy I don't care about the GFX.
I don't care much either, I would just like it if every character looked like they belong on the same screen. Instead of some random guys mugen collection. [post="179348"][/post]
first bit, j/k hehe, just messing witcha... and your answer was as informative as a 5 year old child's, how do you know about it's "arcade cycle"? besides how do you know if my opinions are bias in all aspects, this forum is not just about SNK second bit, it never did bother me all that much (remember fanboy part) but yeah it would be really nice, maybe if they get iori another costume or whatnot. spritewise the redesigned chars from old games look very good, but some chars like the last blade ones differ from the samurai spirits bit, but if you want the chars to look like the ones from their respective games you can't really ask for much... but then again SNK is lazy as a couch potato so yeah >_>... edit: but you do have to agree, that despite it's short-comings every fighter they produce has that awesome feeling you can't describe edit #2: you should only immediately agree with K`Dash, he is GOD! [post="179349"][/post]
All right, fair enough. I only said you were bias towards the quality of SNK games. You said it yourself, you are a fan boy. =) I personally find the game enjoyable, but all the cut corners and botched work really turn me off. I respect K's opinions, but lately has been saving some stupid things. ^^

6. *Sigh* The OP actually thought the majority of us cared about this game. Anyways, he is talkinag about NeoGeo Battle Coliseum. http://www.gamespot.com/arcade/action/neogeobattlecoliseum/ As for the release date... Who knows, I think Playmore would want to milk as much of the Arcade release before they gave the people the chance to play at home. The game doesn't look very good. Just good old' SNK making those same old errors. You can expect, some characters sporting very detailed and high quality animation and others using 11 year old sprites mixed in with newer high quality animation making them look incredibly off-frame. You can expect a tired repetitive score. And ofcourse, It would not be a SNK fighter if the game wasn't completely unbalanced.
7. Just read it. It's a short book, I finished it in 3 afternoons.
8. You could just order them. You won't find them in english however, unless there is some sort of translation project.
9. The actual story might be fiction. But so much of what is in the book is accurate.
10. I would like to know too. Government conspiracies? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a great book. I've read three times already. Though the actually story is fiction, most of the facts within the book are not. The ones that are opinions, have a really strong things supporting them. Mod's edit: Added spoiler tags
11. They totally ripped that off Metal Slug 3. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, like I said. This game will still be better than Battle Raper 2, but probably won't win against Sexy Beach 2. Nothing tops that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i'm afraid to ask, but my curiosity has gotten the better of me... links? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> http://www.illusion.jp/preview/index.html <{POST_SNAPBACK}> these games seem all censored where it counts... not nearlly enough for a hardon... as well as the fact that nobody pirates these, or I may be blind like a bat... edit: I downloaded variable geo, and the buttons are fxk3D! like every other jap game, they're totally fxcked, unsuitable for 2 player games and most off all not changeable... as well as the fact that either they are over-nationalistic or they just don't give a crap, but there's no english version <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most japanese games never have an english version. Unless the likes of JastUSA or Peach Princess find them worthy enough for a translation, but mostly they just translate hentai dating sims or visual novels and don't touch the rest. Also... nobody pirates these? I strongly disagree, as I'm one of those people who pirate these games. You need to look harder. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 2nd. Half the internet pirates all the hidden japanese fighting jems. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Melty Blood reACT, Queen of Hearts ( i think that's the name)
12. Not from the Bible directly, but scifi elements circling Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy. Nietzsche's books Jenseits von Gut und Böse (Beyond Good and Evil) and Also Spracht Zarathustra (Also Spoke Zarathustra) are heavy reference material in the Xenosaga trilogy's titles and contents. Yes, there are biblical references because Nietzsche's own work had biblical references. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not only from Neietzesche. Also from Gnosticism and about a million philosophies and religions. (Note: I just said that to prove that bible elements can be used to retell stories without being "propaganda.")
13. Wow, who picks this stuff? I wouldn't have voted for anything on that entire list. Except for maybe Resident Evil 4 and Battlefield 2. F.E.A.R... COD2? Come on. A pair of generic FPS.
14. Nothing wrong with that. Just like there is nothing wrong with retelling bible stories. One of my favorite RPGs is Xenosaga and that has so many damn religious references. Hell, there is even a symbolic Jesus figure (his actual name IS Jesus). EDIT - Also, what do you mean my religious propaganda? I don't see CoN trashing women and putting them down.
15. Not that I'm defending this game. But it's not really fair to compare this game to Battle Raper. Illusion makes nothing but Hentai games. All this game seems to be is light ecchi. Honestly, there is no fricken anime that doesn't have it. So I don't know what the big deal is.
16. How is the movie? I've read all the books when I was 12. I have really good memories of them.
17. I agree, that looks awsome. But this one... http://www.poddle.net/~gunsmith/KOS-MOS/KO...S%20worklog.htm I want!
18. Someone had a the name "Biohazzard" registered. (I don't remember correct, but wasn't some kind of band?) It does make sense too. But I'll admit, I like the name Resident Evil better.
19. I wonder why the names changed when they came to the states. Same deal as Final Fantasy? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the title was changed because 'Eternia' referred to He-Man, which was/is copyrighted already. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bah! So it's the old Resident Evil deal.
20. I wonder why the names changed when they came to the states. Same deal as Final Fantasy?
21. Would Tales of Eternia happen to be "Tales Destiny II" on PSone? In case you haven't played Chrono Cross, I would suggest that first. It's the second best RPG on the PSone in my opinion. Tales of Destiny II is an awsome game too. I'd rank it up there with Chrono Cross and Xenogears. It's a simple, traditional storyline but it's very touching and interesting. The combat and the gameplay is awsome too. Lots of things to do. I can only recommend Xenosaga II if you are a fan of the series and have played the first. The storyline is hard enough to follow having played it. Anyways, despite what you may have heard. Xenosaga II is a great game. Beautiful music (atleast the movie scenes), nice graphics (though they lack the detail of the first) and a very innovative battle system. It's tough, and hard to get use to. And unless you loved the repetitive Xenogears esque system, I think you will love how involved battles are now. The story is good, but I'll admit could have done a much better job of telling it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ugh, XS2 is garbage compared to the first one. Removal of teh Tech system in battle, and the new art is utter crap. Music otherwise lives up to the first one. Goodthing XS3 added the missing features which were in XS1. INCLUDING the Tech System. Also, Mok-kos is just plain frightening. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shut the hell up man. Tech system is so stupid it's not even funny. The hole game you do the same exact thing, battle after battle. Once you get X-Buster and everyones trademark area attack there is very little reason to do anything but that. But I guess you are turn off by the hole having to think before you attack thing. I weep for you. EDIT - Telos has been in since Episode I, glad they are finaly gonna reveal her.

23. I loved Star Ocean 2. It's the best one in the series in my opinion. ^^
