Yep, it's been confirmed on a couple different sites. At last, a chance for ta82 owners to downgrade. Sounds kind of scary at the moment, you can't upgrade again, and the firmware sounds a bit glitchy. I just tried out Mvspsp, it works great. Full speed on Snk vs. Capcom (with sound now). I was really impressed with the improvements. The only thing I could think to improve it would be filter support, like 2xsai or supereagle. But that might be a bit too much to ask for. Also, it would be great to see a Zinc emulator for the Psp, but I highly doubt we'll see that any time soon.

I read what you posted, I just meant I hope they succeed in making it more like SH2. Just because they want to make it like SH2 doesn't mean it will actually turn out like that.

I hope it goes back to being more like SH2. That was the best one in my humble opinion. 3 and 4 were poop. 4 was the first one I quit playing because I got bored with it. Fingers crossed.

Why don't you just take it to a pawn shop? You'll get less money, but it's much quicker. If you have any dvd's, you can pawn a couple of them too. Instant money.

3.0 just came out less than two weeks ago. It takes a little bit of time to do these things. I'm sorry, but it's stupid comments like that that discourage dev's and make them decide to stop sharing with us. Be patient.

In the config, under Bios and Plugins. Change the GD-ROM plugin to gdrImage. Now when you start the emulator, it will open up a browser window to look for an image. The two files I had on my comp were .cdi images and they worked fine. I'll have to do some further testing.

Just tried it, Illbleed and Marvel versus Capcom both worked. Seemed a little glitchy, but I was quite impressed. I never thought there would be a new dreamcast emulator. Very exciting. I hope the dev's keep up the great work. Woo-hoo, iso support. No more screwing around with daemon tools. Wicked.

Not a chance of updating. All you need is just a little patience. I'm sure every psp hacker is currently working on this firmware. I'm sure it won't be too long before we have some sort of hacked firmware.

Once you get good at installing windows you can have a new installation set up the way you like it within 2 hours or so. Nlite is great for getting rid of extra crap. You can also slipstream programs and windows hotfixes into the installation. So it saves you time the next time you install windows.

Just been playing Power Stone collection on the psp. Great game. Really good to play when you've only got 10-15 minutes.

Chankast has been dead for a long time. No one wanted to admit it, and i'm sure there are a bunch of people still waiting for the day when a new version comes out. But the sad fact is, there will never be a new version, and any bugs it may have will never be fixed. The best hope right now is that nullDc or some other emulator turns out to be decent. Either that, or buy a dreamcast.

I was just playing The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, On my PSP! I love emulation. I really like my psp, but theres not a lot of great action rpg's out there. Thankfully, there's a lot of gameboy advance games I never played.

I started downloading shows cause I was working at night and I would miss all my shows. I got so used to watching shows without commercials that there is no going back. I tried to watch Family Guy on sunday, and I got so bored during the mega long commercials. I think the internet gives people attention deficit disorder.

Which version of daemon tools are you using? Have you been able to get any other games working? I believe the recommended version of daemon tools is 3.29.

I'm hooked on Burnout right now. Love that game. You can just pick it up and play for 5-10 minutes, or play for hours. I'll probably play Tekken next. I'm looking forward to Silent Hill though. I can't wait to play it, it looks great.

I bought Atv Offroad Fury and a 2gig memstick. So now i'm playing Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Burnout, thanks to devhook.

Yeah, read that already. I already updated to 2.71 though. Still, i'm sure there will be a downgrader for 2.71 pretty soon. Even if there isn't, I don't mind. I can already do anything someone with a 1.5 fw can.

Wal-Mart has a sale on right now. $178 for the core system (Canada only). Just picked mine up, and i'm loving it.

I just bought a psp, and it turned out to be the dreaded ta-082 hardware. Luckily, devhook works with it. Its so cool. I can play damn near anything. There's very little chance of bricking your psp with this method, so it's even better than downgrading your firmware.

Glad everything's back to normal. Looks like the database is fully intact too. Awesome!
