If the team has stopped working on the emu then they should release an open source to its fans as a goodbye gift

I was wandering, has chankast team stopped workling on the emulator because their last update was in 2004 I wanted to ask if they can fix one bug on a game I am playing - Sonic Adventure 2. For those who have finished that game, they will know that you need to see the shadow of a boss to defeat it. There is no way to defeat that boss without seeing its shadow. I tried to see it througb wireframe but there was nothing to be seen.
