The graphics look pretty solid, but game play wise, how does this compare with any other modern first person shooter? I tend to get bored of them rather quickly.

No problem buddy. I think we've all had our share of being bad 1emu-ers ... regardless, you should install Skype. Microsoft bought Skype and has merged Windows Messenger with it. So you'll be able to login to Skype with your WLM/MSN login. That should fix it.

This remake was utter crap. The original blew it out of the water. And you're right Ems, it had some good cinematography scenes, but it was a lackluster performance. Not to mention, the original had a beautiful soundtrack. I almost feel like they went overboard with the action scenes (is that even possible?).

Though I was aware we now have a new server, I seem to have missed this news post. Goes to show how busy I've been. The new server sounds amazing. This site is extremely fast now. I'm really happy to finally experience 1emu at these speeds again. Hopefully, we can run the upgrade. My only concern with FAS is that I found it's IonCube encrypted now (meaning we can't see the source code). Can we trust installing it is the ultimate question?

Hey veristic! It's better than anything. Kudos to you. You can always look into getting financing from whatever country or state you're in. There's usually something for people of low income. Ultimately, as long as you make enough money, and are living a happy live... it's all that matters.

If we hosted anything, we'd be fine. I'm not going to host anything illegal here, period. But I do strongly believe if we host legal emulators, it will be the answer we're looking for. I'm just waiting on help from the server side stuff though with miskie. Unfortunately, I have very limited access to the server to do what needs to be done to make the site ready for the next big update.

I am planning to upgrade the forums to IPB v3.4 and switch to a faster server. In order to switch over, I will have to leave miskie's server and we will need his blessing and assistance. I am hopeful he will help us in the transition process. This will prepare us for the ability to add a rich downloads section, have cheaper costs, more bandwith, etc. It's the best way to go into the new year, as my pocket and time are running thin. If you guys know of good servers, post it here. Please remember, I am always available via PM or live chat if needed. Just hit me up.

Besides news posts, we have an extreme lack of content on the forums. I have too many things going in my life at the moment to sustain the site with various threads across the forums. We tried to take steps to get staff posting weekly posts, etc, but that also fell through. The revival of the XBOX forum didn't last long enough and the attempt to add the Downloads section failed. We may be dead, but we're still up there stats wise compared to many sites in our category that still exist. The only way to make a relatively successful come back is: 1) Move to Social Networks -> Twitter, Facebook, YouTube 2) Move to a new server -> faster and cheaper costs 3) Upgrade forums again and install downloads section 4) Focus primarily on emulators for systems and handhelds (not for PC) In many ways, we're kind of fucked where we are now. But with the a greater amount of content and more google indexing us, we can make a come back. I just can't do it all by myself or I'll burn out in a few days. You, Robert, have been the most helpful and the only one who is pumping the last amount of blood in this place, so I thank you infinitely. At this time, I respectively will vote to keep the site going.

It keeps fucking happening lately. I don't get it. I get a bunch of phone numbers, text the girls, and nothing. They either don't respond or start flaking out to hell with various excuses. It's ridiculous. The biggest issue is you can't show that you care. If you respond with a fucking text saying "Hey, what the fuck happened", you're screwed. Oh yeah, the younger chicks don't want you actually calling them. What is this bullshit? Has everyone got scared from hearing another's voice? How do you guys go about sealing the deal once you meet them to actually make sure you can actually get a lunch or coffee date out of it?

We're trying to install a downloads section and things kind of went to hell. The forums should be fixed now. Let me know if you guys have any more issues.
