I unfortunately wasn't here when there was an anime section. :\ surprised to say but when I was on here I was split between to lives my love for gaming and anime, it's really grown as a scene, put it to you like this I was into naruto way before you saw all these little kids running around with those stupid metal headbands. It sucks cuz everytime I go on here Im like great, people who love gaming and much as I do but none that love the anime/and games that go with it, but there are a few who do Im just not sure if they're still active memembers, but either way I think it's a great new way to bring the scene back. Even if I have to be the one pushing the section which I dont mind because it's not like I have alot to do with my time. lol Hmm... perhaps start a few threads first here in the lounge. NRG is Nero Burning Rom's version of the typical ".ISO" file. You should use Nero to burn it. Yeah i figured as much, I haven't burned a nrg since I was making bootleggs for the dreamcast. Yeah im here in and out but since I moved back to the home that I originally became a member on here, my life has become a bit dull so I would like to somewhat get back into the scene. The attack system is only fun if people are on here but yeah I would like to see this place get lively again. I know this has been beaten with a dead horse and what not, but what of an anime/game section. There's a few animes that did get PC fighting games and other games like the gundam series, idk just a way to attract some traffic and plus most people I know that do watch anime also play games but not so much the other way around. :\ Ah, so you were conditioned to visit 1emulation when you lived at home. This should allow me to further put some juice back into this place, but it won't be easy. The hardest part for me is keeping my energy consistent here. I tend to quickly get fatigued when running this place or fall into another trap to get me distracted again. I'm working on preventing that every time I return. Some cool things that are included in the face lift -- we brought back the forum attack system (click the punch button under a person's name) and added a brand new downloads section (I'm actively adding files). We're also now on Facebook and Twitter... make sure to like and follow us, as we're quite behind in that field. Also, change your password if you haven't already, as we were semi-hacked last year.

It use to be a part of Nero Vision, but I would recommend Nero Video (it's part of Nero Burning Rom Platinum I believe). It's very easy to use and you can import just about any type of video files and create DVD menus. You can create a Blu-Ray or Video CD as well.

Lately, it's been really hard for me to sustain my energy for 12 hours straight. It doesn't matter if it's after sleeping a night for 6 hours or even 12 hours. It becomes a real struggle especially after eating a meal to keep my head fully awake. Do you guys experience this a lot? How do you combat it? I thought perhaps if I get into better shape physically that I could withstand the day longer, but I think that would require even more sleep to repair the microscopic muscle tears. Coffee doesn't even work for me anymore!

So if anyone was wondering what the hell happened to me again this past week, I was busy installing MacOS Mountain Lion on my PC laptop. I was successful in creating a fully functional Dual Boot with Windows 7. And I got to say, MacOS is pretty sweet, and I've got it running at full speed and graphics on my lappy. I thought I would never say that ... First and foremost, the video editing and effects programs (Final Cut Pro and Motion) have really streamlined the process of NLE (non-linear editing) and have made it almost too easy to make a professional looking project. Now I know why so many people make short films on YouTube now --- the editing process is easier than ever, especially for a Mac user. This also is further confirmed with audio editing (i.e. Garageband, Logic Studio, etc.). Second, I am disappointed with the built in security features for MacOS. There has been a rise in Malware that effects both Windows and Mac operating systems and there is disappointingly no built in antivirus for Mac. WTF? We live in 2013 and quite frankly, it's ignorance at its finest. The built-in firewall also sucks -- as it only protects you from incoming connections and doesn't allow you to fully control outgoing connections (ehem, malware). All in all, MacOS has a pretty amazing built-in multi-desktop feature, and navigation is pretty easy to get used to. The only thing I hate is that since I'm running this on a PC keyboard, the apple key has been replaced with the alt key, and furthermore -- any command that uses CTRL+something has been replaced with APPLE+something. Idiotic. If any of you are interesting in trying out MacOS on your PC -- it's a pretty complicated process. Even though I've got it running fairly stable on my laptop, kernel panics happen often when trying to boot, and sometimes I have to keep rebooting until I'm in. It also can be troubling trying to find appropriate drivers for hardware that's never been natively used on a Mac. All in all, look for iAtkos if you really want to put your PC skills to the test!
