shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 18, 2004 Author Posted September 18, 2004 Clark Steel is totally a wreslter!!!Nah, He's very cool and doesn't really use anything but wrestling moves (and I love him) but he's not wrestling themed. He's military again, like Alex.
Wizard Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 He's wrestling themed indeed. He isn't a real one. The man has The Shining Wizard, if anyone knows where thats from (NOT WWE) will get a prize.
KyokugenKiss Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 (edited) that shoudnt matter, he wrestles! and thats the whole point! who out wrestles who! Clark owns Tizoc or Ramon but i voted Hugo since i use him in SVC chaos when im bored Edited September 18, 2004 by KyokugenKiss
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 18, 2004 Author Posted September 18, 2004 I do see where you're coming from but Clark is a soldier. His character design brief wasn't for a wrestler, it just turned out that his moves list took its influences predominantly from that, as KOF94 was short of a 'grab character'.
Skythe Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 (edited) Mike Haggar?Saturday Night Slam Masters He's wrestling themed indeed. He isn't a real one. Doesn't the real world standards consider all the ones in the poll as fake wrestlers? Edited September 18, 2004 by Skythe
Agozer Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Mike Haggar?Saturday Night Slam Masters Well, if you want to get real technical, Mike Haggar started in Final Fight and Capcom put him in Saturday Night Slam Masters later on as a hidden character.
Chaotica Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Tizoc, with Ramon a close second. I have always thought Ramon was underrated by many. What about Sumo wrestlers? E Honda? Hinako (sp) ?
Daeval Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 (edited) King was a guy in tights with an animal mask. I can't think of any off the top of my head (but I'm not a big wrestling fan), but that's not exactly groundbreaking enough to attribute Tizoc's design to him as well. Tizoc has much more character, IMO. BTW, I voted for Wolf. Even though his name is backwards on the other side of his shorts. Edited September 19, 2004 by Daeval
-VIOLENCE- Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 yes~! ZANGRRIEEF! <~~~~ Yeah thats how i pronounce his name when i'm in the streets.
KyokugenKiss Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 i admire ZANGRRIEEF!!!! hes openly gay and wants to bareback with VEGA (BALROG In Japan)
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 19, 2004 Author Posted September 19, 2004 (edited) Mike Haggar?Saturday Night Slam Masters Well, if you want to get real technical, Mike Haggar started in Final Fight and Capcom put him in Saturday Night Slam Masters later on as a hidden character. Technical? He wasn't secret in Slam Masters/Muscle Bomber. Plus, he has always been a wrestler, that's why they needed to put him in Slam Masters. -VIOLENCE- , Why do you pronouce Zan-gee-eff wrong on "the streets"? Edited September 19, 2004 by shin_nihon_kikaku
Gryph Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Maybe Violence feels like it. Get over itBut you forget something Skythe, if one does not pronounce every character properly, they are not a true gamer, but a disgrace to the scene.
KyokugenKiss Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 mabey not true to the scene but -VIOLENCE- can probably own you in any sf/kof game, and tekken
