i l l m a t i c Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 (edited) Just saw the documentary on the sci fi channel....and all i had to say was.. well for those who didnt watch it, teh sci fi channel was suppose to make a documentary about Night...but ppl who were suppose to make the documentary realizes something about Night...well the whole point of the documentary was that all the movies that M. Night Shyamanla made, (Unbreakable, Signs, The Sixth Sense, Book of Shadows(?)(Johny Depp movie), and the upcoming movie..The Village was basically a autobiography of himself. Well the whole documentary was pretty cool...some of it could be really true or he tried a good job trying to promote his upcoming movie. Who else watched this?? Maybe someone can explain more about it.... Edited July 19, 2004 by Xx1LLMAT1CxX
Chaotica Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 I have only seen the Sixth Sense, I thought it was pretty good. But how was the Sixth Sense autobiographical? Don't tell me that he is claiming that he sees dead people.
L.S.D Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Yeah, and i want to see the guy like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.
Weirdy Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 The 6th Sense was ok, but kinda boring Unbreakable, however, almost put me to sleep. After that I just stopped watching Shyamalan's movies. I think a few other ppl stopped too after seeing the last one, but now he's coming up with a marketing gimmick saying that the movies linked together are autobiographical of his own life.
L.S.D Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 But I like Signs. It is really good, although the showing of aliens kind of breaking the mystery.
Gryph Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 How are those movies autobiographical? As far I as know, seeing dead people, never getting hurt, fighting off aliens, and whatever happens in The Village never happened.
Agozer Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 I see dead people *looks at agozer's avatar*omgwtfbbqroofleskthxbye <_> I'm going to get you for that.

Gryph Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I didn't even know about this mockumentary. I want to watch it now.
Weirdy Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 You guys are apparently retarded. http://www.click2houston.com/entertainment...508/detail.htmlactually, I knew that for 2 days already when someone posted that on another forum
i l l m a t i c Posted July 20, 2004 Author Posted July 20, 2004 (edited) in the documentary, M. Night supposely drowned in a pond for like 35 mintues and he was revived. And by that near death experience, it was thought that he started to see ghosts and stuff...the ppl who made the documentary pointed out that water played a part in some of his movies...(signs and unbreakable)...and they also pointed out that ALL of his movies were made within a 30 mile radius on where the pond/lake was and where he used to live....they also found out that the house that M Night lived in between the age 10-12 (age when he drowned) was the same very house in Signs.....well in my opinon....hoax or not...the documentary was well put...but the audio malfunctioning and Sci Fi production meetings gave it away...
