Weirdy Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Hi there, I'm moderator at RomShare.Let me clarify a few points. - Weirdanzeige, your post about Cassini was deleted as it's clearly against the Forum Rules.Consider that, even you break the rules (not for first time I'll add) you are still not banned.You even didn't receive a temp ban.Nothing.And you broke the rules a few times at RomShare.Mod team there has been very nice to you in my opinion to keep you inside the community. - I don't think it's nice from you to insult people. -Squaresoft74 does not have to consult anything with webmaster as he administrates the forum same as him. -RomShare's mod team doesn't execute the Rules "too heavy".We've been nice to people breaking the rules several times.And, after all, rules are the same for everyone,don't you think? -If you do not agree with RomShare's rules (or think they are wrong) you are free to leave and post whatever you want.Emulation is a hobby.Something we love.Let's keep good athmosphere everywhere. -Goku's story at RomShare is really more complex than that Weird.Far more complicated and the story you tell is not accurate.Anyway, I can tell guarantee to you and to everyone that Squaresoft74 and Goku are completely different and that Square is not gonna follow Goku's story.I'm 100% sure about it. -Chinese board has another rules.Nothing to do with RomShare. -Mod team (and that includes Squaresoft74) has nothing against you Weirdanzeige. IT WASN'T EVEN ABOUT MOD CHIPS!! >_ I just wanted a list of gamesWell, I guess this would be a good start...Discussion of mod-chips for Xbox & PlayStation 1/2 is not allowed at anytime.Use a search engine like google and find discussion boards that allows such discussion but not here.While I see that you weren't talking about modchips, I can see how what you were requesting would inevitibly lead to a discussion about how x-game works with x-modchip and not with y-modchip.If you were being punished for posting about modchips, your post would have been moved the the bin and you'd have been banned. The post was simply deleted to stop any discussions of modchips before they started. I do realize that we are a pretty strict bunch at RS, but please do understand that we are moderating a forum with quite literally thousands of members and that we try our best to make sure our rules apply to everyone. Xeon Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 I would think "owning the game originally."you got to be kidding me. they have regulars that have the entire MAME collection and even updated and that means 5000+ CABINETS!!! no seriously, the rules there arent that hard to grasp but you have to see it from their perspective to fully understand. the "old school principles" thing i mentioned is errr.. hard to explain really. theyre just like you and me and the regular internet joes, so dont take them for overkill emulation freaks. Anyways, yeah, I'll try it out once I get a new gfx cardI heard that you've had somekind of beef with squaresoft in the past as well. everyone does, that guy is an ass IMO, I don't see why that guy doesn't just consult the Webmaster before cold bloodedly deleting threads w/out reasons like he always does I take it that he's an administrator...Is it just me or does he excercise the rules a bit too heavily? Romshare already has strict rules to begin with, does it not? yeah it does but if you ask me, he's going down the same path that an admin that was previously banned from there due to taking things too seriously as well (he went by the name Goku). Actually, he was admined, then brough down to mod, then was finally banned. soo..yeah, that admin spot is cursed if you asked me it's dumb how in the chinese forums ppl are allowed to discuss whatever the hell they want hmmdidn't know you were staff here weirdanzeigeas no one else (edit: apart from IQ and ender:p teach me not to read page 2-4 ) seems to be doing i'm going to stand in square's defence and say he is nothing like goku. i have seen some of the stuff from 'behind the scenes' that led up to goku's banning (in good confidence, so i won't be bad mouthing him here). trust me, square is nothing like that. a tad harsh maybe, but he is just doing his 'job' (unpaid:p). rules are rules, i'm afraid.i'm good friends with him and he warned me about my sig a while back (it was 1 or 2 pixels too big, lol) to make sure he was treating everyone equally.still, i'm not here to flame you weird, i have no problem with you, just stating the other side of the argument *on topicnice update to the emu, but in the new vers i can't get my cd s to work :soh well Edited July 17, 2004 by mukimuki Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
