ForceX Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 OK. I will include in my guide how to setup MinGW and also post my MinGW folder for anyone that doesn't want to go through the hassle of setting it up (It can become very fustrating if it doesn't work ) Back To Work
ForceX Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Prican25 is it cool if I use you to test my FBA compiling guide on after I'm done? I wanna make sure it works for others before posting it
ForceX Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 For anyone waiting for the FBA Compiling Guide v1, it shouldn't be to must longer...I'm just ironing out some bugs and making it more clear to understand the steps
sammaz Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 i just looked at dream-emu and they are showing a fba v. 1.0 that has all the roms in order very nice....wondering if that can be ported or integrated into ghozt's fbax compile...it has mslug 1-5 in order and kof96-2k3 in order
ForceX Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Final Burn Alpha sorts the games like you mentioned by it self if you have named your romset the same as the others in the Final Burn Alpha Source Code e.g King Of Fighters 2003 and King of Fighters 2001 Its really simple

Prican25 Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 (edited) you could've used google or altavista but oh well heh Edited February 26, 2004 by Prican25
ForceX Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 (edited) Does google allow you to translate pages? I thought altavista.com was the only one out of the two that did? Oh well.... *EDIT* The FBA Compiling Guide v1 has been completed and Prican25 is currently testing it out to make sure there are no mistakes Edited February 26, 2004 by ForceX
Jjangthekid Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 why are you guys talking about fba?. what about winkawaks?.what happened to that?..did people give up on that..ahh!!!
Agozer Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 No news on that. SAme with NeoRAGEx. Only the dev kawaks plays KOF2003. Glad to see you're still active though.
ForceX Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 OK....After getting Prican25 to test out my FBA Compiling Guide we have discovered many errors...mainly when you download MinGW you are missing alot of files etc..so I am just going to upload my MinGW to my website for everyone and just explain how to compile after the setting up MinGW section....
iq_132 Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Yeah, I remember the first time I tried to compile FBA, it took a few hours to track down all the files mingw/fba needed and put them in the correct places. I just would compile, get an error, fix it, compile again, get an error, fix it, etc. Finally, I got it working.
Testament X Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Can anyone upload FBA Franta for k6 users? The link from KOFchile is dead... Thanks. BTW for those who had problems in making this emulator recognize the s1 bio, just download this: http://emuattack.host.sk/neogeo/271-s1.zip I had similar problems and deleted the emulator, but now that I found the link dead I actually regreet doing that.
