Krosigrim Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Hitsparks??? The hitsparks look perfect with the art direction they took. I do not see how you two can say this about the sparks only, and nothing else about the art of the game...
Krosigrim Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 So how does anyone know how this measures up to Tatsonoku vs Capcom? There will be a competition at my Gamestop come release night... I wonder if I should get TvsC and get some practice in. Buy it used... If its available, then return it and put that money toward MvC3. Im looking at movelists off of eventhumbs... I see that they use weak, medium, fierce attacks... not punches or kicks... but Light, Medium, Heavy. So down forward could be a fireball but down back and the very same button is hurricane kick. Then they have a pop up button... that'll be awkward for me.
Inky Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 eww that control scheme doesn't sound so hot. I just assumed it would be like MvC2. I heard Best Buys would be putting up kiosks this week.
Gryph Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I can't wait for this game holy shit it's going to be so awesome.
solidius23 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I'm playing the game now, not too shabby once you get used to the controls
emsley Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 MvC3 why does my brain not accept these games anymore? I can pawn all neo-geo games, but stuff like SS4 etc, I think there is something wrong with me. I was pro at street fighter 2 turbo on snes am i really that far behind?

2eyez Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 True for me as well. I see myself losing my talent at fighting games. Maybe because of the lack of playing or actual use of hand movements. My hands aren't responsive like before. Combos aren't connecting and I'm actually struggling against a noob at MVC2 when at the mall. I still win but I kinda panic. It's like "I almost lost to a button smasher". WTF
solidius23 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 when playing you dont actually notice the hit sparks that much
emsley Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Im backing out of this shit dudes it no longer feels like street fighter 2 to me, i kind threw the towel in after tekken 3 when my cousin would just float about with this chick he used to kill everyone, i guess this is like some kind of Football simulator for americans etc, you plomp a footy game in my lap i will sit there for hours beating everything in my path for my fav team, Just lost my way with this 2-D fighter stuff now.
