Weirdy Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 no, I don't believe that's the point of their usage either
emsley Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 But it still administers nicotine... not really kicking the habit, is it. When you consider how many chemicals are in cigs - replacing it with just one is wayyyyyyy better.

emsley Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Had one smoke yesterday - doing well - Im sure this is what I want for my self. Got some old nicotine gum that went out of date in december 2007 - chewing it - it does not do anything - only got a nasal spray to last me till monday. Very little left in it.
Explosive Misanthropy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 why does one look like a pen? so you can look like a crack head smoking it?
Explosive Misanthropy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 My boyfriend and I are trying the quitting thing, too. We were smoking one very two hours, or at least trying to. That was yesterday. Today we tried smoking one every 4 hours. I'm doing alright, I haven't really been craving them super badly. Then again, it's only day two of the weening off smoking process. it's better than before though, I was smoking about a pack a day. but that had a lot to do with smoking inside, and now what we've moved, the house we're in, we can't. so it makes the process a little better. The way I am dealing with it is I feel more proud of myself the longer I wait. It seems to make the time pass by easier. Today I've had 3. I think that's pretty good from having had smoked almost a pack a day about two weeks ago.
Hera Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I was doing pretty good but I've slipped the past couple days. Too much stress and not enough outlets at the moment. It's not over just yet.
KyokugenKiss Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 my mamma said "To get things done, you better not mess with Major Tom"
Inky Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 my momma said 'I'm to drunk to taste this chicken.'
emsley Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 I woke up to BAD cravings this morning. I just sprayed my nasal thing 5 minutes ago and its just starting to calm me down. The trouble is when you stop smoking the novelty of been a none smoker wares of quickly. I normaly cave in when i have been drinking, its a good job I cut my beer out at the moment too.
Explosive Misanthropy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I went for six hours last night between cigarettes. I hope to keep it up.
Inky Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I spent about 60 minutes between cigarettes last night, I'm doing AWESOME!
emsley Posted September 9, 2009 Author Posted September 9, 2009 Once you get to the cut down stage smoking 5 a day is easy to do!
