I'm moving towards buying the normal game and not the collector's edition. I'm sure I can get the movie and OST buy searching for torrents but I won't get the Ryu statue. My mind may change though, I don't know. I am a fan of Street Fighter, hmmmmz. What to chose, or how much to spend? $59.99 vs $79.99

I'm not a big fan of gimmicky additional features coming with so-called "collector's edition" releases of games or films.

I would just buy the game for the game. As in, buy the normal version.

if you want toys go by toys... get the damn standard edition. put the other 20 bucks towards the stick.

Getting 360 CE because I buy CEs and I Like C.Viper > Ryu.

Already got it all pre-ordered.

I'd buy the CE just for the extra stuff. I don't know about the rest of you, but I like CEs.

Yeah, I'll probably buy the normal version for my PS3. I'm confident I can find the movie ans OST on torrents and I'm sure the statue itself is not high quality. I rather buy a high definition statue for $100. Thanks for the input folks.

Interesting that the Japanese CE is the exact same thing except both systems get BOTH busts. Which is split for the N.A. release.

I can't stand the 360 for fighting games PS3 for me plus just buy the regular one collectors edition? your not going to open it? b/c it's not going to worth the same once you open it.

if you are going to save it buy another copy b/c I had to do that when MVC 2 came out I got both for 50 bucks and now I have people asking me 150 for the un open one

That depends if your using a joystick or not. If you are, PS3 is the way to go because it offers a larger selection on sticks to use. If your going online play, 360. If you don't care about the CE, anyone of your choice. If you take good care of your crap, the resell value should be high enough for second hand.
