Wizard Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 they all look pretty good to me....but,why in the year 2008 do we still have to yell out the attack name we are doing? "BURNING BOOTS!" Japanese laws of physics. The strength of an attack is directly proportional to the volume at which you announce its full and complete name. It's why when I play D&D with my group, we do shout out random none sense while casting spells.
L.S.D Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 ... The Tales series just keeps going in its nth installment, and Europe never sees any of them. Except for that bastard orphan child Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube folks. You can always play the PSP version
Chibi Kami Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Well, the XBOX jocktard fanboys DID miss out on Star Ocean 3 telling you that the whole universe is one big MMO... Oh, sorry, did I spoil that for you? /smartassery
BlackKnight Posted June 11, 2008 Author Posted June 11, 2008 Well, the XBOX jocktard fanboys DID miss out on Star Ocean 3 telling you that the whole universe is one big MMO... Oh, sorry, did I spoil that for you? /smartasseryCould you mind your language please?

Agozer Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Like like Star Ocean 3, although it's rather difficult if you don't pull a tri-Ace and actually learn the ins and outs of its skill-learning system + even the basics of the workshop stuff Still, Star Ocean 2 defies criticism, in my opinion.
BlackKnight Posted June 11, 2008 Author Posted June 11, 2008 Still, Star Ocean 2 defies criticism, in my opinion. Is that good or bad? I've never touched the series... which would you recommend as a starting point?
Agozer Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 In a good way. I'd start with the first one, just because it cemented a lot of things that are common in the so-called Star Ocean "universe". but it doesn't really matter. I haven't finished any of the games yet, btw.
Tynvar Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 This is just what Microsoft needed. Some good jrpg games to bring in sceptics like me.
Inky Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 jrpgs have always been the weak point for MS. that seems to be changing, maybe these titles will help the 360 sell a bit better in japan. when blue dragon, and eternal sonata released there was a jump in 360 sales in the land of the rising sun.
L.S.D Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Lost Odyssey is a good jRPG on X360. Just wondering why it didn't get the deserved love.
BlackKnight Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 The sh!t performance and all round being a watered down FF. That and the nonsensical storyline.
Fatal Rose Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Can't wait to play some awesome JRPG's on the 360.
