We were utterly pathetic. Seriously. Now I remember why I don't watch football. That seriously got me depressed. Dutchland's second team literally gave us plenty of opportunities to score. I have never seen a more unorganized inept bunch of players. My paralytic grandmother could've played better than those poor excuses for football players. Dutchies were literally passing the ball to out players as an encouragement. You have the proof in our match with France. We were facing a much weaker team and we couldn't get the upper hand no matter what. Depressing to say the least...

Am guessing Frings won't run that much as he did last matches. He's the key between defense and offense.

For Podolski's position, there was a shooting machine which made 75% of the goals. With him gone, who will score the goals ? I wish them luck. But Portugal got more than matching players and - they are hungry. It's a pity how uninspired and demotivated GER seems.

the best chance germany has for scoring goals with podolski out is michael ballack.i think you are going to see germany trying to get a lot of free kicks in this game.

He plays well in the big games in the Premier league. Hell, Man Utd could get 5 years out of him and still sell him for a huge sum of money. The owners are billionaires anyway, 'cashing in' isn't that much of a priority, plus they said they wanted to keep him too
