Flash floods are heavy stuff, Leeds were I live is geographicly "high up" so I should be ok.

??? The high rise building did not fall down. Maybe just due to angle.

Rain is dangerous even when you live in the mountains. I live 1542 meters (5060 feet) above sea level and when it rains water gets really dangerous in streets that used to be the natural traveling path of water.

I've never witnessed any flash floods myself, although I do know that flash floods occur inland every now and then.

Yes, I know my legs are quite manly. But yeah, I need to trim my nails.

The water pretty much went away a few hours after by the time I went to bed so it was alright. A few of my friend's places and cars got ruined though.
