F-Ing Fox News Bashes Mass Effect "NUDITY"

Recommended Posts

that last guy said something that is very true. it's the parent's job to not let their kids play games not suited for them or walk them through it when they're playing. i bet u that guy is the only gamer on there

He's probably just into porn. Good man.

who's not into porn?

Holy sh*t!! I hate these people. This has to be my favorite type of argument. The parents don't want there kids to see this stuff, but they say it's "too much work" to monitor it. I could go on for days with these people and I think I'd win.

University of Maryland study says "boys who play video games dont know the difference between them and the real world unless theyve had experience" - WTF? That has to be the WORST conclusion I have EVER HEARD. That is totally wrong. If I'm playing UT, I don't just think I can just walk out on the street with a flocking rocket launcher blowing the **** outta people and expect them to respawn! I know theres a fricking difference! My gratitude goes to the Spike TV guy who at least knew what he was talking about. And way to go Fox for kicking that guy off the line when he started proving them wrong. That's just horrible.

First off, glad to be back after a very long time away.

Now, let it be said that Fox News is a notoriously liberal news show. Once you find out that's who's doing the story, you pretty much know which way it's going to go.

Anyway, something I wish that the spike tv guy would have had ready to unload is this:

“The average game player is 30 years old and has been playing games for 9.5 years”

“The average game buyer is 37 years old. In 2005, 95 percent of

computer game buyers and 84 percent of console game buyers were over

the age of 18.”

“ Eighty-seven percent of game players under the age of 18 report that

they get their parents’ permission when renting or buying games, and

92 percent say their parents are present when they buy games.”

This is based off of an older survey, but current numbers are similar.

The liberal psych lady says that this game is targeted to a younger audience. I think we as gamers all know better. hell, look at the stats above.

My final thought is when the one guy says 'Mass Effect won't come into my home.' I say good. It makes it easier for us genuine gamers to find our copies when we want them.

hell, i just complete the so-called nudity section.

1st, the scene is quite cheesy. Kissing then the bed scene with some ass view and not so obvious boobies view. Big flocking deal. i can see more on TV. The way they do it, it is just like any other movie out there that feature some nudity. And they are afraid to corrupt some innocent mind? Big deal, our innocent minds are already corrupted long time ago.

Try this game out. Despite some hiccups and not-so-great battle gameplay, the story alone is superb. Worth the epic and i can't wait for the 2nd of the trilogy. On my 2nd playthrough using a girl now.

Welcome back TapeWurm! You've been lurking for too long. I really do hope you stick around this time and I hope to see you as an active poster once again.

It's been a long time. 6 years now, could you believe it? Time flies my friend. Time flies. :naughty:

I think you mean conservative. Fox has always been a biased news show with a political spectrum to the far right.
