Inky Posted February 11, 2009 Author Posted February 11, 2009 I started this thread started December 6th 2007. here we are over 14 months later. was it worth the wait? HELL YEAH!
L.S.D Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Arrrggghhh, I can't wait to play this since our arcade here did not carry this game at all!
solidius23 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 totally worth the wait and seth is a cheap ass boss.
Alpha Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Why was this almighty thread closed? I just bought my copy of SF4 today and haven't even opened it yet. I didn't pay the extra $10-$20 for the "limited collectors edition". Perhaps, I'm not that big of a fan, but none of the extras seemed worth buying.
L.S.D Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 If you don't have an arcade stick. good luck in trying to get the challenge mode completed. I have problems with charge type characters using the X360 pad

I have problems with charge type characters using the X360 padThat reminds me ... if I don't want to pay over a $100 for a 360 arcade stick, what is a good suitable stick for this game?
LoRd_SnOw Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 (edited) I want this so badly, I cant decide for which console i want it for >< I knows there's d-pad issues with 360 and who knows what kind of "things left out" the ps3 version might have. btw, is this game full 1080p? or 720? Edited February 19, 2009 by Snow Patr0l
Bambi Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 btw, is this game full 1080p? or 720? Yes it's 1080p and it looks amazing! The boss (Seth) though is the worst boss ever in a SF game.
L.S.D Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Seth is a worse boss? I could name a lot of SNK bosses that couldn't even beat Seth in term of design and toughness. I feel Seth is well-made, not too tough on medium setting, and some relevance in term of design. The only setback is his move sets which is copies of other fighters' moves.
emsley Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 It cant be worse than some of the horseshit bosses in SNK games. Rage of the dragons Jona is the worst.
Wizard Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 That reminds me ... if I don't want to pay over a $100 for a 360 arcade stick, what is a good suitable stick for this game?Whatever your preference is. Just get a fightpad if your not so sure what to choose. Because top of the line sticks are out of your price range since you aren't going the whole way. Both a EX2 and Fightstick SE are trash unless modified anyways. Seth is a worse boss? I could name a lot of SNK bosses that couldn't even beat Seth in term of design and toughness. GGPO Seth right there.
LoRd_SnOw Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 by worse is he anything like from the old mortal kombat games when they had kintaro and shou khan pretty much raping you with repetitive moves at the very corner of the screen?
solidius23 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 if u dont keep seth far away he will either pile drive u or that wicked triple shroyuken. and if u r not playing on easy his super will almost always suck u in.
Bambi Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Anything I do to Seth and he always uppercuts me then appears in the air to pile-drive me, hate him so much.........
