sweet, he has the straight side kick Ryu has in SF3 and the 3 hit super dragon punch. I can tell already I am going to hate Abel.

the side kick is Gouken's Focus attack.

Chunny is gay tier (S tier) according to some people now. This is an example of an excellent Chunny in action in SF4.

Speaking of Nemo, I found his blog.

 

First is the character rankings (tier list) according to him:

 

S - Ryu, Chun-Li

A - Sagat, M.Bison (Dictator), Rufus, Blanka, Zangief

B: Ken, El Fuerte, Balrog (Boxer), Vega (Claw), Dhalsm, Abel, Viper, Guile

C: Honda

 

Next, his latest posting, "Chun-Li's Final Form"

I've finally figured out this character/I've finished this character.

 

The reason why I think Chun-Li is strong is

 

Wakeup pressure using J.FP.

 

Against some characters, you can win just with this.

 

1. J.FP, FP, Combo

 

2. J.FP, Throw

 

3. J.FP, C.LK, Combo

 

Chun-Li is the only character who can form an attack pattern from a mid, low, and throw.

 

Against Blanka, Balrog, Rufus, Abel, Dhalsim, Vega, Chun-Li, and Viper this is a pretty good strategy.

 

But Balrog etc. can get out of it with the headbutt. LOL

 

I didn't get punished with any ultras, but if the opponent has ultra meter then maybe its something to be wary of.

 

Yesterday I fought against CAB's Balrog

 

And I thought that Chun-Li definitely has the advantage

 

Well, when I lost I just couldn't counter his attacks and brute force, so it was almost comical.

 

If I could properly counter him then I wouldn't lose.

 

Of course, that blasted ultra combo.

 

But its fun to apply wakeup pressure on Balrog when he doesn't have ultra meter.

 

If you can remember this wakeup pressure it's really something.

 

Against weak characters its almost cruel.

 

There are characters you can beat only with J.FP.

 

Its also good when used with JS.FK.

 

Depending on the character, it's all about J.FP.

 

Also, depending on the position and height, it'll also beat out Zangief's lariat, so she also has the advantage against Gief.

 

But lately Sagat's just got too many tools working for him, so I feel that Chun's at a disadvantage against him. LOL

 

Chun-Li is not weak.

 

Ryu, Chun-Li, and Sagat are gay.

 

Against certain characters, Chun-Li is too much fun.

 

I think Zangief is a tier below her.

 

If I were to fight in a team battle I'd want Ryu and Sagat on my side.

No, she can do high-low mix ups that also lead into a tick throw setup.

If you noticed, it only works in corners, meaning you've got to launch them first then do the EX legs

Dan and Fei-Long are confirmed for all 3 home releases, along with Sakura, Gouki and possibly Gouken. There's hints they might add Cammy, Ibuki and possible 2 more characters. I think their planning to put extra characters from every era. We already have Sakura+Dan+1 more possibly for SFZ/A, Fei-Long+possibly Cammy+another NC, what's next is SF3 characters, and Ono hinted that Ibuki might be one of them. Gouken is Gouken, he MIGHT represent Alpha also, but that's just speculation.
