esoteric Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 If you see it rotating clockwise, your right cerebral hemisphere is dominant ("Right brained"). If you see it rotating counter-clockwise, your left hemisphere is dominant ("Left brained"). Stole this from another site.
esoteric Posted November 29, 2007 Author Posted November 29, 2007 I don't think it works very well, but I thought it was interested so I posted it.
Explosive Misanthropy Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Yeah, I saw it going both ways as well. I'm not entirely sure about which side it is, but I do know that if you draw something while looking at it is one side and if you're like Bob Ross, and paint/ draw something from your imagination, then it's the other side. What if you're ambidextrous though? Do you use both sides of your brain at perhaps an equal level? Because I know that the human nervous system wiring is weird, and all criss cross, and left side controls right and visa-versa..... and does that make you smarter if you can use both left and right sides of your body to an adequate level?
veristic Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 All I see is clock-wise, but I already knew I was right-brained. I hate math and do art.
Mooney Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 It changes depending on how I focus.Same here.
ken_cinder Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Both, if I look away for a second I can look back and see it spinning in the opposite direction. Weird.
Shibathedog Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 MIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDFUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKK!!!!!!!! At first It was going left, then right, and I couldn't get it to go the other way again, and now it is! AHHHHH!!! EDIT: flock its going RIGHT again!
Gryph Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I could switch back and forth on command before but I haven't been able to do it lately.
Krosigrim Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Wow. Cool... Mind Flock is right. I first saw it counter clockwise. Then I stared and thought to myself, How could it possibly be going clockwise?? I stared and stared, and all of a sudden, she was going clockwise. And just like Shibathedog, I couldn't get it to go back!!! Then after a bit later, I was scratching my neck and she was going counter again... Just scrolled back up and she is going clockwise.... OH!!! TOO BAD IT'S FLAWED! Damn I wish it was perfect....... For those who cannot see it going counter clockwise.... Look at the shadow of her left leg, the raised one, you will see the shadow on the ground, then presto, you see that she IS going counter clockwise... It's cool though, because I was having a hard time switching back and fourth between directions quickly. Wow, when you flip back and fourth quickly, it makes you feel kinda strange, like your building new synapses or something!!! I guess I use both sides equally. Figures....... I'm a Libra!!!! I excel at Math, Science, and art. So Math/Science VS Art, is definitely polar. But... not to me. --> I do not let this Libra thing measure me, but it is funny, how accurate it's description is.... makes you think. Edited November 30, 2007 by Belthasar
Fatal Rose Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I can switch back and forth whenever I want, odd. What does that mean?
Krosigrim Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Perhaps you posses a greater focus than most. Or perhaps you are equally sided, AND have a large "whatever that thing is called" that connects the two hemispheres.
Krosigrim Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Man, I can switch back and fourth pretty quick too. Do you notice a sensation change when you switch? It's very hard to explain. Not exactly a sensation, more like...... a feeling. Take notice, I think you may know what I mean. I await any response... Edited November 30, 2007 by Belthasar
