The controller looks like someone ripped out a bunch of Select/Start buttons from as many Super Nintendo controllers as they could find.

I can't imagine trying to play a game with a controller like that.

Not to mention, the controller is bigger than the original XBOX controller.

How they managed that just puzzles me ... :naughty:

Well it predates the Xbox.

I liked the console. It just met a quick death though.

I bought a brand new one for 10 dollars off Ebay.

My original one died on me, like most systems for anyone, during childhood.

That type pad thing is just an extension for the regular controller. It plugs into the bottom port.

I didn't own one as a child but my best friend did and the only game we played was Tempest 2000. That was such a great game.

Yeh I've picked up old systems.

SNES = $100 AUD w/ Killer Instinct, Super Mario Allstars and RARE's arcade stick

Saturn = $5 AUD. That's right. With Night Warriors too.

Dreamcast = $50 AUD with a bucketload of Jap region games and 2 controllers / VMUs.

Unfortunately, Atari and friends predate me by too many years. In fact even the NES and Master System were on their way out during my time.
