Is Wrestling Fake?

Recommended Posts

I know Wrestling Fans here are going to flame me for this but I just wanna know

About how much of it is fake?

I know the punches and kicks are sometimes fake.

But the throws seem real enough to me even when ppl mentioned they were fake?

Help!?

I dont know exactly which moves are real and fake, but I do know its alot more real than its given credit for. Certain things people think are nothing really hurt them such as just running into the ropes snaps on their backs *ouch*, and the actual mat itself may be a tranpoline but it is alot harder than people may think.

So Im saying besides the punches and kickes the only real thing thats fake is the outcomes.

A few years ago a friend of mine was really into wrestling and he had some videos of American wrestling from the 70s. Some of it was obviousely fake but other parts was definately real. After seeing those I have to say that I seriousely think these days its all fake.

Most of it is fake, the thing a lot of people were copmlaining about(I think) is that the matche outcomes were all preset and the wrestler dudes were just acting their part.

I like to joke that wrestling is real, and that they just want us to suspect that it is fake.
Also, I said that all the wrestlers are gay. I didn't mean it as an insult, just as something to be funny - somehow, it happens that all the wrestlers are gay.
