What is the best way to learn how to play Mahjong?

you can make an account at game sites... I can't think of any good ones at the top of my head right now but Yahoo is a crappy one, and you can always do a search on google.

That answer may be the most helpful although I am still interested in any other Mahjong games that will help me learn to play the game.

Chinese Mahjong is the one I am most interested in!

I'm not interested in Taipei-style memory game variations though.

I don't have Suikoden IV and I don't even have a PS2 so that is out of the question.

I've already visited that tutorial on that website last year.

Robert, any idea what that game was called?

Does anyone else have any suggestions? :P

My wife bought Moraff's Maximum Mahjongg Vol. 3 last year, and it's got plenty of different game types on it. It also has 200 tilesets and a bunch of other junk.

It's all in English and she only paid like $6 for it. Pretty good idea to find it if you want to learn.

I don't think I've seen that PC title. Was it from Electronics Boutique or Best Buy?

* Delves deep into ye ancient archives *

All I have as far as dos games go, is

Shanghai

Solitile

Mahjongg

Mahjongg VGA

Solitile and Mahjongg come with instructions.

Mahjongg VGA allows you to create and use your own tile designs.

There was a little Windows game called Taipei which is similar.

My favourite one was Solitile.

Thanks for the answer! I'll see if I can find those titles but those look old enough that I doubt any of my Electronics Boutique or Best Buys sell them.

I'll look it up, IJTF_Cinder. Thanks for the answer too. :)

Any other suggestions on how to learn Mahjong quickly?
