revo Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Just a reminder, version 0.11 is now out, it fixes the default light setting. Also, tomorrow or later today I hope to release a version with the saved wifi settings like tssf suggested.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> are you going to release source? I want to do something similar, but there is no sense if someone made it before

I really need that..<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Open the .bat with a text editor and edit the set of numbers at the end (after the 9501). They go in the following order: A B X Y L R START SELECT UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT Here is a list of number codes for a keyboard key:http://francis.dupont.free.fr/coindev/english/codedi.htm Edited January 21, 2006 by analogman
mastertop101 Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 oh thank you analogman, and If anyone knows how to combo keycodes (like CTRL + X in a single DS button) let me know. I think you can do that : Rename ds2key.exe to something like ds2key2.exethen change something like : ds2key.exe 192.168.1.101 9501 30 46 45 21 38 19 28 42 200 208 203 205tods2key2.exe 192.168.1.101 9501 30 46 45 21 38 19 28 42 200 208 203 205 So you'll be able to run 2 times the program at the same time.. and I think you know the rest.. I did not test it but it should work.
PickleHead Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 the second program will have trouble opening the port if the first one is alraedy using it.
Alpha Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Thanks for posting your new homebrew application here! We hope you keep us updated on all its releases here on 1Emulation. Lemoe Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Great app, i cant wait to get it to work lol. Ive set it all up but when i press a button on my ds the program says im pressing it again and again, really quickly and constantly until i close the program (turning off my ds does not work). If i press another button the the program alternates between the 2, again until the app is stopped. Has anyone had this problem and overcome it or just know how to fix it? Thanks (and great work, keep it up) Lemoe
Nushio Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Hello! I registered in this site just to say this program is awesome! I've been lurking the forums for a while, but decided to register and post once I saw this into effect. I'd like to leave some feedback for the app though. I noticed that if you hold A, it sends the signal as long as its being held, which is great. However, when using the Dpad, leaving Up or Left pressed only sends the signal once, which means that you have to continuously press left or right to move your character, rather than leaving it pressed. Another detail is that while playing several Flash-based games on newgrounds, I noticed that, lets say Mario bros... You can't jump while running, you cant run while shooting and you cant shoot while jumping, which means that it can only send 1 action at a time, and not several at the same time. If these 2 small 'details' could be fixed on a future release, it would be awesome! Other than that, this application is great for playing Space Cadet Pinball!

Thanks (and great work, keep it up) Lemoe <{POST_SNAPBACK}> first time i tried ds2key, it worked fine then, i wanted to change my ip to put 192.168.1.189 ( i didn't want to configure it each time ) after that, big problem : i have the same problem as the quote before, and windows says there is an ip conflict, whatever ip i choose to use ds2key ( 1.1.1.1 or 254.254.254.254 ) i'm sure each ip i test ISN'T already given in my network, so i don't understand why it doesn't work anymore, even if i configure everything like it was when it worked :/
t4ils Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 ok, my problem is solved i have to connect to the udp test with 192.168.1.188 ( or other ip not in use ) and change it to 192.168.1.189 just after launching the udp test
Gryph Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I hope you don't mind me mirroring it on my webspace. This is just incase if that free webspace goes down. http://www.thesevenwords.com/downloads/DS2Key011706.ziphttp://www.thesevenwords.com/downloads/DS2Key011906.zip
