I don't like FPS games; except Perfect Dark, which is the only one I find respectable

I'll probably get Quake 4 when the game is on sale for $30 or just wait for a price drop. I've saving my money for Civilization 4.

I am all about Quake 4, but I think I need to upgrade my GFX card. :P

I just don't feel like spending $50 on either Quake IV or F.E.A.R. The single player components are supposedly only 10 hours. I need a bit more gameplay time per dollar. Not to mention I have little time or money for this many games. And I need a break from FPS. The last 3 games I've bought are FPS. :P

Yeah Quake 3 blew. However the replay value for most FPS is their online play. From what I hear F.E.A.R. really bites. The single player demo was fu nand ran great, but the full game does not work on my PC. From what I've heard Quake 4 isn't very impressive in terms of graphics compaired to Doom 3. It's slightly upgraded but nothing new.

I'm along the same lines as Mr. G, although I am tempted to buy F.E.A.R... as for Quake 4, I don't know what I'm going to do with that. A demo would be nice.

I'm playing FEAR at the moment to justify my hopefully future purchuse of the game. But the MP still sucks balls even after the demo and the single player gets really dull 5 hours into it, only the beginning and ending of the game holds true merit. I buy Quake 4 however, seeing how I have no intention to play it's single player campainge and am buying mostly for the online content of it.
