Gryph Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Virtual Network Computing. It allows you to do remote computing.
Robert Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Basically it's a remote-control tool, same idea as Carbon Copy, pcAnywhere, Remotely-Possible, and a whole pile of others. The good thing is that VNC is free. You start up VNCViewer, enter the IP address of the remote computer (and password if applicable), then you see the other computer's desktop. When you move the mouse it moves on the remote computer as well. When you type, the letters appear on the remote computer. It's just like you are there.
MasterKevosavi Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Well, I guess that since Nintendo is making so many ausome games that are coming out soon, people want apps that they can't get from Nintnedo!
Thoop Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 No-one wants games?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apps are not Games
Gryph Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Plus I say we leave the games to the masters at Nintendo.
mike260 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 No-one wants games?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apps are not Games<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Depends on your definition I suppose, my fault for misunderstanding the post topic. Dunno about leaving development to the 'masters' though...the DS is about the right size that a 2-3 man team could make decent games.
Shibathedog Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I want an app that gets me free games No wait we have that already hehe BTW Gryphon, thats Peter Sellers as your avatar right?
Shibathedog Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Peter sellers is fricken hilarious haha anyway, what about P2P? Or something where when it finds wireless networks it will make the rumble thingy vibrate in your pocket!
MasterKevosavi Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Or something where when it finds wireless networks it will make the rumble thingy vibrate in your pocket!<{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be amazing! Except that you would have to have the rumble pack thing for that to work...still a great idea though!
