Gryph Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'll probably catch it next weekend after my finals are over.
Weirdy Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 no, 42 is the answer to everything according to google
Smilee Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Now where's my towel when i need it? I won't forget to bring it with me when i go to the movies.
Rag Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 these threads just get more and more confusing as time goes on...
Daeval Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 So I've never actually read the book(s), and I've always felt like some kind of heathen for it. I finally picked it up on Friday and am hoping to read it before I see the movie, just so the horrible experience I'm expecting from the movie doesn't completely ruin it for me.
Wizard Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 It doesn't really matter if you read the books because the movie is just another format since the movie was written by DNA himself. Like how it was a radio show first, then a book, then a Miniseries.
NeoMaster Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Can some explain to me the marvel of this hitch hiker movie? I've never heard of it but everyone is calling it the next sliced bread.
Bluestinger X Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 its cause the book its based on was pure genious. Seriously I remeber soon as I finished it how no way they could make a movie off of it. Well lets just hope they pull it off well.

Dooz Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Because it was written by him waay waay back, and could always be open for interpretation without his consent (Since he's dead) by the director, thus suckage is possible.

The hired writer simply came aboard to improve structure and make the screenplay more coherent.
OverlordMondo Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I can't wait. I remember finding it in class once and reading the first chapter or so, I wish I had taken it with me now.
