+ T + Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 I'm glad to hear the sound problem's finally sorted. The 'flou' (blurring) problem with 2xscale was a small oversight on my part, sorry. It will be fixed in the next update. I'll take a look at the menu music problem too.

sammaz Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 (edited) +T+ I know something that will make your version realy cool!!!! random mp3 play on launch...like a dash it would play any mp3s randomly in a certain folder...like f:\music\random it doesnt need any controls or user inputs -It may be just me but I want to boot my neogeo arcade machine to FBAxxx Pro with random Raggae tunes jamming!! Right now it boots to unleashx but i think it makes the most sense for the MVS-2 to go straight to the game selection screen....that way its like a real MVS-2 with every cartrige loaded and ready to go!!!!! thanx! bilippe Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 i have noticed many bugs in the last update : 1.some games freeze and restart isnecessary at launch or a message appears " there was an error starting " : the game don"t start ( kof2k3nd , windjamers.......) ( all roms are correct...) 2.the resize of screen in menu is not possible...(very hamful in some skins...... ) 3. absence of music in some skins ( gg bar....) 4.2xscale is very blur....

I'll look into the problem with ROMs not starting. sammaz - Your mp3 idea is a good one. But Pro really isn't about adding new flashy features and such. Perhaps you should suggest it on the FBA-XXX forums.

bilippe Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 (edited) +T+, I tried your FBAXXX Pro, with kof2002.zip and kof2002d.zip, and I don't have problems (except that the sound wasn't very good, a lot of little cut...), but kof2002.zip works well in FBAXXX 01/05 too, and the drv for kof2002d.zip doesn't exist in FBAXXX 01/05 so I cannot test it... does it exist a differnce of sound between your version and gogo's version and if yes can you fix it ( with menu sound pb / resize menu )? + T + Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 I can't hear any difference in sound between Pro and FBA-XXX no matter what games I try. So as far as I'm concerned there is nothing to fix unless someone can show me otherwise.

Certain games (MSH Vs SF and MSH) have certain extras in the Japanese roms over the US/Euro versions. so currently have to have those two games as 2 of the same name on the menu if I want to play in English...and i still can't play the japanese version in English (Norimaru/anita's endings) if this feature is already in FBAXXX Pro i apologize. I could've swore I saw it in there a few releases ago but it's definately not in plain view now...and the documentation that comes with the release states nothing about it.

So the only way to play a japanese version is to use the Japan ROMset. Neo-Geo games however, do allow region switching via the dipswitches. Perhaps this is what you remember.
