I actually use the composite rankings at GameRankings.com when looking into a game I'm unfamiliar with. I then read a couple... usually IGN and Gamespot... to get a feel for what they liked or didn't like. IGN tends to rate games higher than most other review sites, but I'm well aware of this going in. Anyway, the complaint about the lack of an analog stick is a common one and one that has a lot of merit. Read the review and you'll see what I'm talking about.

My local game store shaft me by putting a price tag of USD 500

for PSP. That's 2/3 of my salary! Screw you!

Now I have to wait for the official release

Well just finished playing Ridge Racers, It's a sweet game, The graphics just dominate the DS version. The controls are very arcadey and it has a pretty good soundtrack. No Regrets on importing the psp. I'll be importing lumines soon.

From an interview I watched at gamespot, Sony said that there is no region lock on the games only on the UMD videos and music.
