Agozer Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Vandal Hearts II. I thought I was getting Vandal Hearts I last night but it ended up being the sequel. It's still good though. I preferred the blood spray effect in the first one.Vandal Hearts II is great. Splinter Cell. I'm stuck. Goddammit.

Well, i still like the Jedi Knight series And Battlefront is awesome in some area especially Battle of Hoth.

Although i wish they made the demo a little bit longer.

Final Fantasy Tactics, Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth, Tactics Orge, Ogre Battle to name a few on the PSX... and Black Matrix, but that's only in Japanese.On the PS2, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Phantom Brave, and La Pucelle Tactics. You might get a kick out of Front Mission 3 as well. I thought you didn't like console RPGs.

I like the combat because you control every movement of your character which other RPGs don't have. I played Ogre Battle a long time ago but the combat system isn't like Vandal Hearts though. Are there any games that let you move your character across a grid with different heights and stuff like that?

Although Phantom Brave has a "semi-grid". of sorts. Hoshigami and FFTactics have grids IIRC. K`: Yes, very much so.
