Shibathedog Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I have been playing Ninja Blade. It isn't awesome because it's pretty much just your standard hack n slash but it isn't terrible either. It is worth playing just because it has INSANE action sequences. You throw massive wrecking balls, ride a motorcycle down a bus thousands of feet up in the air (the vehicles get thrown super high into the air by a giant tentacle beast that is tearing through the city below, duh), jump on a missile fired from a helicopter and ride it like a surfboard back into the helicopter and all kinds of crazy shit. If you don't like quick time events (or whatever they are called, where during an FMV it says PRESS A BUTTON!!!!) STAY AWAY from this game because they are almost constant. I'm only on the 3rd level and i've pretty much already decided I'm going to play through the whole game as long as this crazy shit keeps going on. Not like there is much else to play right now anyway in terms of new games....DAMN YOU ASSASSIN'S CREED 2 AND YOUR PC DELAY!!!!!! I keep hearing about how awesome it is from 360 owners!
VT-Vincent Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 A friend recently got me New Super Mario Bros. Wii as an early x-mas present, and I am absolutely loving it. They've taken things from every Mario game and have masterfully integrated them into a new, modern 2D platformer. It's amazing that after all these years Nintendo still has it and can churn out great games like this.

VT-Vincent Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I think it's definitely bigger and more unique. The DS New Super Mario Bros. was nice, but I think in a lot of ways the scope was too small and the game was too limited. Playing multiplayer on it is a blast.

You haven't finished GoW?Yeah, i never get to finish the game, even GOWII. Can't recall why. i think, i was more into RPG and Winning Eleven during that time and kinda stuck in the 2 minotaurs level early on. That kinda dampen my mood to continue playing Right now, I am stuck in the Hades level where i have to sacrifice Centaurs. not sure how to do that exactly.
Agozer Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 You need to slay the Centaurs while they are in the sacrificial circles. Defeating them anywhere else doesn't count as a sacrifice.

Defeating them anywhere else doesn't count as a sacrifice.I did try that but it didn't work. i checked gamefaqs and somehow it says that I need to slay the centaurs in the 4 small circles encircling the big ones. Will try again tonight.
Devia Eleven Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I borrowed Uncharted 1 from some guy yesterday, completed it in one sitting in 8 hours. A decent game, but has irritating problems, haven't played Uncharted 2 yet.

It's alright, some of the missions feel like a chore and even though I'm trying to complete the game with everything evil though one of the main quests just forced me to be good. Moral choices, really bad gimmick in this game. Also I got Borderlands, anybody want to run through that multiplayer style I'm ready (tbh though, I haven't touched it since I bought it).
