Hera Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Just replayed through all of GOW1 co-op. I think I heard the name Baird said the same exact way about 100+ times by Marcus. Paper Mario on GC I love the Paper Mario series, have you tried the N64 one? Too much fun. OH yeas haha. I have alllll of them.

Don't know where to go and too lazy to go thru a faq....You need to find the four pinwheel crests in order to work the mechanism that opens the sealed door at the Kureha Shrine. Listen to what Mayu mumbles in her sleep to get some hints (approach her). PROTIP: The crests have the names of the four great houses in All God's Village - this will help you to pinpoint their general location. Plus, by the time you get to the big tree, you already [should] have one of them.
Krosigrim Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Just started Phantasy Star 1 for SMS These old rpgs never lose their charm on meAhh the games where all the spells are named crazzy sh!t and you dont get a discription...
Inky Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 X-men origins: Wolverine. pretty fun. the cut scenes look amazing, to bad the rest of the game doesn't look that great. lots of blood and guts though. QTE's aren't that annoying thankfully, just button mashing type so far. and not every 30 seconds like some recent games. Moar street fightering. almost to G2 in championship mode. blanka has become my cheap win character.
L.S.D Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Championship mode in SFIV, still at G3-B. But meet a very good Abel player, a very, very good Blanka player who both thrashed me like mad with focus cancel thingy
KyokugenKiss Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 since i am new to next gen, i bought assasins creed and dead rising right now im hooked on assasins creed
Agozer Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil. yeah, it can be definitely considered a "kids game", but it's a damn fine platformer, still.
Diso Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Got back into games again around last week or so and been sneaking in gaming when I can. First off, Finished tomb raider anniversary. Fun game, never played the original though. Seems like they give you too many med pacs though. And they really shouldn't give you full hp when you continue from a check point. Climbing that pyramid in the end was a biatch though. Second, played Tom Clancy's Hawx. Completely ridiculous game in terms of presentation. Otherwise, the game is still enjoyable to play even with a friend. Makes it a hell of a lot easier. Only complaint was that the game is pretty short and many missions feel like the same with more enemies and you just have a better plane. Probably the best mission on there was the stealth bomber one. Definately the most fun and frustrating. Other stuff, playing some MAME. Just finished Darkstalkers a few days ago with some characters and moved on. Played with PSX a bit. And just played zombie revenge on DC. Kinda sad that I still can't beat it even with a friend. POS game.
Rag Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Just started Phantasy Star 1 for SMS These old rpgs never lose their charm on meAhh the games where all the spells are named crazzy sh!t and you dont get a discription... Thats the one. Beat it after grueling frustration. Tried to play 2, but its too soon. Been trying to get the achievements in Luxor 2 but that game is so bad and annoying and boring that I want to gouge my eyes out. Damn me for having achievement addiction.
Krosigrim Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Well I didnt play it but I want to... My friend is playing Super Robot Taisen OG Saga on the DS. That game looks fun as hell.
Inky Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Resident Evil for the Ipod touch/iphone. it's got the slower pace of old RE games which I like, graphics look bad ps2ish. really it's pretty impressive for a mobile phone game. I haven't got a lot of time with it cuz my ipod was almost dead when I started playing. I have Sacred 2 downloaded for the 360 but haven't burned it yet. I need to hit best buy for some dvds.
Rag Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Been playing Sega Super Stars Tennis for achievements mainly. Its a decent tennis game. It seems like there is bad hit detection because sometimes the balls just fly right through your character. It is cool to see characters like Alex Kidd making a cameo. Another cool feature is the ability to smash zombies in a House of the Dead minigame mode. I guess the best part about this game is not the gameplay but all the appearances from Sega games that were actually worth playing.
Agozer Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Shadow Hearts. Not much of a looker even by the PS2's standards, but damn, the storyline and atmosphere is something else. Plus, the first iteration of the Judgement Ring System is still good.
