    Stuck?

Lo and behold. He dumped IwIP. Is this other project the GBAdev 2004mbit compo menu/loader?

    Pebbles PC

**sigh** You know this thing called google? It helps you find out these things. As does the forum search button.
  3. None. But if the source is portable it's just a simple (once you get the toolchain working) recompile. There may be bug hunting as well, but that's about it.
  4. SSH! That's all i need. Oh, some kinda kismet port?
  5. Unfortunately the log is real. So as i've said on the DSlinux forums don't run any homebrew that you can't verify as virus free. Those with flashme are safer as they have a recovery sector, but don't do it. You GBAMP or supercard may also be damaged (and those are irreparable, much as the damage to the homebrew scene is).
  6. Because the use this forum too. They were probably recounting what they did to each other or just joking around.
  7. NO. This has nothing to do with sgstair's excellent work. Nor does it have anything to do with darkfader (at least i hope not....) It is my belief that someone used darkfaders name to propagate this. That log file is imo fake. No-one on dsdev answers so quickly and also the "crashme" app was reported long before this. This is a vigilante attack on pirates as only they will be interested in a r0mz loader. I don't agree with the method used against pirates. Darkfader has been idle for 11 hours, so he was idle at the time of the "message"

    Site down?

Yeah, was down this morning. But back now. So we can view the same page as it was yesterday....
  9. Yes. Assuming you have Compact Flash cards.
  10. The CF one is just as bad for DSlinux. Only the GBAMP works really well with DSlinux.
  11. Is that saving including the shipping? Otherwise you pay shipping twice, which means it's quite a bit more. Lynx provides a great service selling passme's/GBAMP's. Be sure to check his homebrew site www.ndshb.com
  12. Do you mean GAIM? Yeah, that would be good.
  13. DS would make an interesting vector for a virus. You get it from another DS, then it spreads to a GBAMP CF card and infects a PC. Or wifi it could spread to the wireless network and get more PC's. The homebrew could generate an image file or "savegame" whch you would run on your PC i.e. to use your backed uped DS save run the savegame thru this converter so it works on emulators. In reality it exectutes a PC virus. Although you may well just put a trojan in the windows executable...
  14. If you really want to watch videos and have a fast enough PC for it to be worthwhile coverting it then yes, it's worth it. I like the box, but if $3 is important to you then leave it out. The box would provide some protection (it has a plastic tray insert). Why wouldn't you buy CF cards from ebay? Many on dslinux forums have and they've been ok. The passme completes are fairly hardwareing and unlikley to break. If you like cosmetics then get the encased one. If your going to flashme your DS then it won't matter. I myself like the PCB on the uncased one (although i just look at mine now thanks to flashme).
  15. Right....a ds virus that what messes your DS up until you turn it off and it's removed? that's great.
  16. It's not similar at all, and it's not just the size of the card. The supercard has RAM (first tiny difference) and runs.ds.gba files. GBAMP specific homebrew doesn't run on it. Also the video playing on the supercard is rubish because it's an old crystal engine. Which was stolen from the GBAMP team anyway.
  17. Or just a text only web browser for wikipedia? I'll show ya wikipedia on lynx later. Yes, i'll edit. Edit: Behold the wikipedia main page, and a page on spam. Both at approximatley one screen DS resoultion
  18. Not sure whether that card works. A small list of known working cards is here. http://www.dslinux.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=683 That 'reader' does write too. If you can have a look through ebay.l The compatibility of CF cards has been improved with the GBAMP hacked firmware V2.
  19. Yay. Let's compress the packets. Meaning we need time at both ends to de/compress the packet. I know it shouldn't be a problem. But i feel i should be pessimistic.
  20. But RSS feeds readers can't view the wikipedia can they? I agree an RSS reader is good for news, but a simple web browser is useful for finding stuff, mainly to prove your mate wrong.
  21. So called nifi works at 2mbit a second. This would have nothing to do with tunneling. What were talking about is latency or delay between sending the packet and actually recieveing it. This is what matters.
  22. OMG. The library isn't even finished yet. Maybe a SSh client isn't high on the priority list. Just sit back and wait or write one yourself.
  23. Erm...Ok the DS communicates via wifi for multiplayer. I think tunneling would involve the wifi. The packet would have to be sent from the DS, wrapped up, sent across the net, unwrapped and sent to the DS. I think that could add considerable deley to the normalyl fast DS multiplayer. Although the DS might just report it as low signal strength. Play bomberman at range. It sometimes lags and stutters. That's due to loss though. Prehaps the tunnel could pretend it lost packets if they take too long?
