yeah, always burn in RAW/DAO mode, nrg should work fine if i ever had an NRG that didnt work, the way i fixed it was by using an app that converted it to CDI (i think) and then burning it with alcohol

Your router most likely has a firewall option, pretty much any hardware firewall is better than any software firewall If your lucky enough to have a WRT54G/WRT54GS flash it with DD-WRT, the firewall is excellent, thats all i use unless you count peerguardian as a firewall (technically it is, but whatever)

The memory card/saves yes, the games themselves no...just put the disc in your computer

didnt they drop development on Project 64? I think i remember reading the developer was looking for someone to take over, is that what happened?

i think its amazing that games that have been in development this long ever came out, how many times did they change engines? Changing engines seems like a huge deal to me, pretty much starting over, i wonder what drove them to bother

well technically after you beat the main quest you beat it never finished the getaway and a handfull of other PS2 games i liked because my memory card got erased and i was too pissed to start over

Portals and stuff isnt new though, they had that in Painkiller, among other games (lol btw did everyone else read about how Valve is including the portal thing in the next HL2 installment? it seems like everything innovative about that game came from everywhere else...nevertheless, a good game )

sorry if it came off i was bashing the DS in favor of the PSP ive never owned nor do i own a PSP, i hacked my friends for him (if thats really considered "hacking") and messed around with some pretty cool homebrew stuff, but DS has alot more interesting games (especially some of the ones on the way) PSP is more powerful and so everyone seems to be like AHH PORTABLE POWAAHHH!!! HALF-A$$ED HANDHELD PORTS YAYYY!!! I think the reason why PSP games/ports are so bad is because of the control scheme, you cant just have 1 joystick and do FPS and such, its just stupid, and it drives me crazy, its so awkward to play games on. but anyway back on topic, i think those "better games" that i and a some other people are looking for are coming out very soon

Its more likeley that they are just using crappy CD-Rs, or their dreamcast is just dead Its more of a strain on the laser to read a CD-R than a pressed disc, so it might just be barely enough alive to play pressed games and not CD-Rs and i think ive mentioned before, that yeah it might be possible, my friend had a circled 2 (or was it 3?) on the bottom of his dreamcast, and it would not read CD-Rs, even music CD-Rs, it wouldnt even read certain retail games, and it said on the bottom it was a brand new factory refurb, so it was probably the latest possible version of the dreamcast to get ahold of, i havent been able to find one like that again and he sold it before i could get it from him >_<

So your saying you want to transfer your save game off your memory card from the gamecube version to your PC, and then load that save with the PC version of the game and play it? Its probably possible by editing the file somehow but i have no idea how to do it
